This is a remote area, no electricity, no water, no bathrooms, homes. People have to set up tents to camp and fish here. What you see here is what I do as well. I catch fish, and put them in a pond, instead of killing them. I may use some as bait, which live bait is best. You run out of ice down here, so the longer the fish are kept alive before killing them and icing them, the fresher the catch. I will however throw back what I won't use and eat. At least you still can throw back live fish.

Just a few years ago I remember when Kailua Kona used to have fish and lobster. But too many people took too much and now there's no more. What is it going to take for people to wake up and see that if we don't stop raping the reef pretty soon theirs not going to be anything? (like O'ahu)

Those fish arnt trapped. Back in the ancient hawaiian days hawaiians would raise salt water fish for days of famine.
