Eurofighter Typhoon at Duxford Spring Air Show 08

I read that this plane purposely has no American dependancy built into it (ie - no serviceable parts reliant upon American supply/service or intervention) in order to keep it independant from USA although of course they are currently our fair allies.

Just wondered if this was true, I'm sure to get an authorititive answer here.

i was there! Little dissapointed about no F-15's, and no B17, but still what a great peace of technology!

but there is word that a b17 is coming from france and america to fly with the one in duxford at the legends in july. will be good to see 3 together

I went to this airshow and I was next to the car park near Hanger 1 and this plane's first flypast set off a car alarm!

I was at the airshow... No f15's, but this time was the first time l saw

The eurofighter. Loved the noise, loved the afterburn, loved the display. Would like to see it display with the tornado. Both will be at biggin hill...
