It was green flag because once you pass the yellow flag, which is before you reach the crashed car, you can't overtake, once you pass the green flag which is after the crashed car, then you can overtake again.

If you look over to the left hand side of the screen you can see the yellow.

(he broke it two laps in a row in race 1) AND he was on his way to winning this year b4 he was hit by J.Richards.
