  • triplets is with guitar

  • @falsehope444444

triplet can be played on any instrument...

  • 24000 looks

  • sorry, that wernt triplets... that was actually sound like regular double bass drumming...

  • Snare, Right, Left, Right.

It's a shuffle pattern on the bass drums (16th, 16th, 8th). A triplet would be even continuous double bass with three bass strokes per snare stroke:

(SR) = Snare and right foot together, (SL) = Snare and left foot together

    (SR) L R (SL) R L (SR) L R (SL) R L and so on.

  • wow.. if you're going to post a tutorial video, you should at least know the correct terminology for what you're trying to teach. These are not triplets at all.

  • man I remember when drummers were cool not a bunch of technical music nerds

  • Those are 3 sixteenth note beats with one rest in between each set. Please learn your music terminology before you try to tell us that these are "triplets".

  • @tttmmmnnnttt No one liked that because it was too original. Naht.

  • These are not triplets!

  • Now try Sixtuplets!!!!!

  • 12 PEOPLE DON'T LISTEN TO HEAVY METAL MUSIC XD

  • Triplets are, for example, 3 notes in 1/4th, in 4/4 bar, so that makes 12 notes in one bar. The notes need to be equally spread across the beat and have all the same duration.

    Now you have triplets!

  • Those are not triplets.....

  • yeah always always use protection for your ears, my ears have been ringing for years now and belive it is not fun when you try to sleep

  • is that the drummer from six feet under?

  • his snare sounds sweet

  • These aren't triplets... Triplets are RLR LRL RLR LRL Not RLR RLR RLR RLR

  • @SoundOfSorrowSOS You can still do them with that pattern... but it would feel odd...I agree with Doodle Dandy921 though. Not triplets. They're sixteenth notes if I heard correctly with a rest on the "a" before the quarter beat. More like gallop kicks.

  • @ColonelPatchy1 Yeah.

  • @SoundOfSorrowSOS Triplets has nothing to do with the foot pattern. It's the note relation to the beat...

  • @masatomega I know there are different patterns eg. RLL RLL, RRR LLL, LRL RLR, LRR LRR. So no my knowledge is correct..

  • @SoundOfSorrowSOS

Triplets are three hits per beat. Doesn't matter what pattern you decide to play that in. There are multiple patterns. If you have simply learned one pattern, maybe you should get some more lessons. All you do when you make a statement like you did is show how limited your knowledge of drums is. Careful. :)

  • @fwh79 LMFAO!!!! duude you are soo right!

  • Those aren't triplets.... he's playing 1e+ with a 16th rest after or possibly 1e+a but i can't quite hear if that last 16th is there or not. Definitely not triplets. Haha.

  • ear protection ..... so ur ears wont get pregnant

  • It's a triplet shouldn't it go

    RLR LRL RLR LRL

    lawl fail.

  • @drummingkid150 true DAT Xp

  • doing three hits on a bass drum doesnt make this triplets? this is just quarter notes with missing out the 4th bass drum hit

  • @major092 it will help you on your triplets though

  • when doesnt he just go right left right, left right left?

  • You are playing quarter notes on the snare, 8th notes on the ride, and 16th notes on the bass with the first note omitted. Not triplets. In a triplet you subdivide by three, not four.

  • wheres his socks?!

  • i dont wear headphones lol...

  • You are kidding or you are a fuckin' idiot.

  • Triplets? Where? Sounds more like 2/4 beat with eights on the BD.

  • Dude I dig the sound of your set.

    Nice vid.

  • looks fake though

  • the best thing of this clip is the sound of the bass drum... nice tuning man...

  • i think u mean TriPLE bass pattern, meaning bass bass snare bass bass bass snare... etc all 8th notes... not too bad, but learn the correct words please.

  • yeah dude. don't worry. he's just dumb. afraid there's nothing to do about that.

  • There are absolutely no triplets in that clip

  • dude those arent triplets...

it's sixteenth note beats with the snare acting as the fourth

  • there just groups of three

    not triplets!

  • @DoodleDandy921 People never cease to amaze me. You would think coming from a professional drummer, and a website based on tips they would at least kind of know what they are talking about. He's just playing 16ths.

  • @DoodleDandy921 thats what triplets are

  • @robertmickomasa no. groups of three dont fall over the beat or bar line, but triplets can. Groups of three are just straight, but triplets aren't they have three notes fitted into one beat, and they give the swaying effect...thats why theyre triplets...

well thats how i understand it. :)

  • @DoodleDandy921 tht is a triplet u fag

  • @tjm31994

    er no.

well atleast me and 34 others know what triplets are :)
