hey nice video i am looking for my first new phone and i was wondering what should i get the first thing that caught my eye was an iphone it got my attention because of the bandwagons out there and i didnt even notice that there are other choices like android so after a few weeks of research around the net i had something else in my sight the nexus line but even though i really dont know what to get to me it feels like i the iphone has more choices and apps but in reality it doesnt, please help

@fuzzy15946 Thanks for the compliment on the video! Yeah if you don't really know what you want yet, you might find the iPhone just as confusing as the Nexus. However, if you have the money to spend on a high end smartphone I can say you probably won't be disappointed with this phone at all!

@WhoWillSaveTheSane No. On iPhone you're stuck with a tiny screen which it is impossible to do almost anything on. And synergy with media? On an android device, all you have to do is drag your iTunes library, or your mp3 files downloaded from amazon or wherever, into a folder. Simple.

Looks good, but I was at best by today and I hold one in my hands and the phone just feels cheap! Cheap materials, if u compare it to iPhone. All pro views say that the iPhone retina display is still the best. Os has great features but looks like way too much things to do, doesn't look simple. Got to try one myself.

@mike22edwards I've never owned an iPhone, only used other people's. The screen just absolutely dominates it. They have similar pixel density / sharpness, but everything else about the G-Nex screen is incredible when compared to the iPhone.

The display is the only thing I like about this phone. However, the higher DPI on the iPhone makes edges and text pleasant to read. Other that, the build quality lacks what there original handset had nothing that persuades me to make a new purchase.

Galaxy Nexus owner here, previous commenter about its battery life is a liar. Tint is not present and the battery life of the latest Nexus outperforms any other phone in terms of battery. All parts of the screen go completely black as well.

I love the look of that phone! I have an iPhone now, but I was thinking about a device running Wndows Phone 7. This alone has made me include the Galaxy Nexus in my pursuit of the perfect handset for my daily tasks. Android looks great!

yeah. I have a galaxy nexus and am using it to type this. The display has a horrible orange tint cause of the curved display. And the battery life is Shit! A Verizon galaxy nexus will last about 2 hours on light usage. Maybe 3 with all radios off. And the blacks are only like that for the buttons at the bottom. The screen itself when it comes to vibrancy and deep blacks is complete crap. Not trying to troll. Only warn people to not give into the hype.

The whole lot .... Not keen on the UI. The fact that google have withdrawn apps with malware built in kinda makes me think twice about recommending any android at the moment. But at least google has started doing something about it.
