  • what software did you use to draw the diagram?

  • @simpsonsrules1994

    I used AutoCad 2008

  • cool

  • anybody have any idea how much this show cost? looked like it was gonna be great!!!

  • probbably in the range of 1,000-2,000

  • good stuff.

awesome vids, and may i ask what camera your using in this video?

  • Both are older model Panasonic mini DV tape models. Without digging them out to look the day one is PV 150 and the night is NV250. The videos are then rendered with Roxio 7 software. You can find these camcorders on Craigslist because everyone is upgrading to HD and selling the older ones. Look for the three CCD camcorder models numbers 150 and higher. Thanks for enjoying the videos. Try to start with a new tape each time also.

  • how much do you charge to do a show like this ? would you trave to Bristol CT?

  • Finally got the video from Labor Day posted, check it out.

  • nice!!!

  • Can you teach me how you or your friend used autocad to layout the show like you guys did in the video?

  • Thanks displayfireworks1 ive learned so much from your videos and I plan on watching all of them, they are entertaining and very realistic. It feels like i am there :)

  • I finally got to watch these videos, they are great. Thanks for the help with the show. I have the video of the show itself and will try to get it posted soon. Thanks again for the help.

  • That would be great if you posted it because some folks wanted to see it. I enjoyed helping you.

  • to bombster1000:

People on Pyrouniverse know about Dave....displayfireworks1 is referenced from time to time on there. I'm not sure if he's a member, I'm relatively newer on that site

  • Yeah, this is the first time I've commented... It took me a few weeks to get caught up to your more recent videos. =)

  • Nice series as usual, Dave. Thanks for the upload.

  • I understand that it was a set-up only video... But there's a part of me that itches to see the final product. You know, it's not the same if one can't see the whole... Process from start to finish. I hope that you'll continue to post those start-to-finish videos. Speaking as one who lives in an overly inflammable state, and can not easily pursue a similar career path. ^.^

  • Dave, what is a good program to use to draw out my fireworks diplay

  • Hi Dave where can i get some electric matches that wont are good quality but wont break my wallet.

  • If I dropped a couple thousand dollars into a show, I sure as heck wouldn't light it using a couple long strands of visco.

  • hey dave are u a pyrouniverse member

  • why did u make the show so short. and can u upload tge full version

  • Dave tou rock in canada. One qyestion, what firing system was Scott using. Thanks from Toronto Ontario

  • It is an older stepper unit I think is what it is called. You keep pressing the same letter then it works its way 1,2,3 etc. the problem is you can not go back to a number , it only progresses forward. It has to go in order. He is having problems with it and I do not think he would recommend it to anyone. There are better units out there now.

  • Thanks Dave, could you recommand any good ones as I see you have 3 different units, I do like your third unit. I have noticed its harf to find electric firing system's for sale becauxe everytime I find onr that I kine, it;s sold out. Again keep doing what you do, which brings a smile to your face and mine. From Toronto Ontario Canada. Mash

  • Those are nice 4" salutes, thunder brand shells are great for the value for what they are. last night i fired 4" 3 layered effect shells from Hopkee pyrotechnics..it has a mine to tail then to a break, and they were killer..if you have access to Hopkee products..you should try them out. Hopkee makes 4" salutes as well and i think they have more of a kick to it than the thunderbird salutes.

  • nice job "sick" show
