but if you want the light to come trough the window , you dont have to remove it,,,, the simpliest way is you just have to exclude them from the light...
Im sure you have improved a lot since the moment of making the vdeos I havent learned much. But yet I did a bit. So thank's and Im looking forward for something more helpful have a nice day.
Im going to defend Drake mainly because he did actually teach things in this tutorial, the only thing that bugged me a little was it lacked a climax, I would have liked to see a final render. For people struggling with textures / lighting you left them at a cliff hanger and they wont know what to do.
@WestDrake I may not express myself correctly. You did cool, was nice tutorial but the final result was messed up.
If you don't have a nice result how I gonna know if i am doing correctly, i am really sure you can do much better than this and i am here waiting. many tks
Thank You! I actually enjoyed all 3 parts of your tutorial because you seem to have a very flexible style of teaching. Hope you make more interior tutorials. There aren't many such on YouTube. Cheers.
that's a fine series of tuts, hope you'll post some new ones soon...and don't mind 'bout the criticism, you did a great job, and I found these videos very useful, as I started using vray two weeks ago, although I'm in max for 3 years already (mray geek, that's me!)! thanks mate!
It's kinda true that it's not so well done tutorial. I mean you didn't even finish it with good result. I bet you can do much better than this since the first two tuts were good, anyway thanks for the lessons!
TO CUTE POISON 1988BG ( IF YOUR GOOD WHERE IS YOUR TUTORIAL??? AND ILL MAKE SOME COMMENTS ON IT -iLL WAIT -AND POST YOUR VERY VEY NICE TUTORIAL OR........
lolz that was good 1 dude... i work for 3d studios in london working on adverts and commercials. Just looking at people on net to see if anything new i can learn lolz.. you got teh basics correct my friend!! well done.. those that are learning are on the correct path. always chage the metters when working, thats the was it works in the industry!!
actually u don need to select the texture of Diffuse,Reflect and Bump again and again. all u have to do is apply on one of them n u can drag it to other maps as many times as u wish~ it save lot of time =)
result is horrible cause you need to adjust vray settings. so you have to work with vray light, p.camera, under vray options with color mapping, environment, and if you want a better and realistic effect you must work with illuminating filters+subdivide and under setting of render fix the threshold. don't know why ppl do tutorials and then say:"i don't know why this is happening!" first learn to work with it than do the tutorial. gl
@zsimic84, thank you for your critique on my tutorial. I'm actually doing much better now and I will probably delete these tutorials and make new ones.
@WestDrake hahaha I'm a Mentalray user, I'm trying to learn Vray couse its the job's requirement, I saw the first and second part of your tutorial, and I was like " oh ok this is helpfull " but when I saw the last part of ur 3rd tutorial, and saw that horrible render...I was like WTF??? and when u said ok thanks for watching my 3rd Vray tutorial...I was thinking if u don't wanna get that render don't follow this tutorial :P, but this is helpfull actually now I'm understanding a lil bit Vray ty
@eXcess007 i thought the same in part one and two i thought he knows what he is doing, in the 3 i just jump for the end to see the result and i thought what hell is this shit...lol but its ok he tried
I'm wondering can you use mr. materials with vray? Or can you make a tutorial about using vray materials more thoroughly? Anyway, thanks for the tutorial, helped a lot !
I want to thank you all of your help, with vray, my result was much more acceptable, so i am satisfied.
