lol there are some bums that hang around campus sometimes, it's open to the rest of the city, but I have seen security chase them out of the library. None of them have ever hassled me, and I have been there for 3 years. Not even asked for change. You leave them alone, they'll leave you alone. PSU is pretty nice, some of the buildings are older, but they aren't ghetto run-down and falling apart. Some are brand new and really nice.

I can't wait to go here. Im graduating high school and I just got accepted earlier this week for the upcoming fall term. It seems like a really good, fun school to go to. I'm going for medical school.

It's actually pretty nice. I really enjoyed my first year there. If you are staying in a dorm... Choose the Broadway dorms.. Much nicer than most of them. Teachers are nice and helpful. Campus is big and definitely non-traditional... It's right in the middle of downtown. So there are a lot of other types of people other than college students roaming around campus as well. Very fast, very busy... But it's fun and I liked it.

Really? I am from Boise Idaho and desperate to see something new with the college scene. I got nervous when I heard that it wasn't a regular university.

By the way how many books do you have to study everyday at college and if you have an easy to remember method to solvealgebra word problems i would really like to know. THANKS.

Portland State is a good school; I've really enjoyed it. Most of the teachers I've had there have been really great teachers. What's important anyway is the actual desire to learn. If you have that natural curiosity there won't be an end to your learning.

i looooooove Portland State, i've been there for a year on an exchange program with the school of business. Best time of my life. I miss all my friends there...Ondinde is pretty sweet for community life;)
