@trinitymike Yap but the problem when you start making mind map for a complex problem it starts branching, and branching, and.......∞... For example the mind map of a book hobbit is about 4 papers A3 format.. One lecture of 20 pages from thermodynamics is also 4 papers A3 format. AND you can see the point here, it is TIME CONSUMING!
The job of Engineering does this already... they call it diagrams.
