I was in Barcelona with a school trip a few months ago.I met ONE girl who speaks English fluently,she worked in a Camden shoe shop near Placa Catalunya.All the other people who worked in shops had no idea how to communicate with tourists including the people who worked in tourism,like in Port Aventura.THEY WORK IN TOURISM FOR CHRIST SAKE!!AND THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!!I couldn't ask anyone for help,for directions for ANYTHING!Cause they didn't understand a word!
