It's amazing how everything is timed to the music so that the shells fire or explode at certain times. I would love to see how they program these shows. It's also neat how when your sitting infront of the castle that it looks like they are coming up right behind the castle, but from this view they are fired from a further distance. Thanks for posting.

I think I found where the larger shells are launched from on google earth. It might not be it, but it looks like a shell-launching area.

i love wishes! i love the soundtrack i love it i love watching it from the polynesian beach i think that is the best view your dead on center it is an amazing view when i go in july wishes wont be there tho thats what i heard i know spectromagic wont be there nd i loved that too

That 4:42 totally misfired!!! I used to work at the Cal Grill on top of the Contemporary. I know these fireworks by heart haha.

The firework that misfired was supposed to go off at the same time as the one that looked like it from 4:37... I guess it didn't fire at the right time. Looks like it went off close to the ground! Scary.

Btw, ive been to wdw a few times, and watched wishes and loved them, but when youre in the park on main street usa, the fireworks are behind the castle, on the vid they look like theyre behind space mountain.

i went to wdw dec 1st - 8th 2008 it was great i still can't believe my family and i were there best time ever i teared up and im 47 we got to see wishes from the calif grill on contempory resort for dinner and the wishes show it was our 1st nite we hadnt slept since nov 29 when left calif we walk around in a daze but woke when we saw the fireworks 2nd best next to the grand gathering at epcot world showcase.

Huh, so the short-range flares are shot off behind Fantasyland, while the larger shells are launched from WAAAAAAAAY back there. And here I thought both were launched from relatively the same place. Thanks for posting this!

@zeekslider The short range ones are not behind fantasyland they are on top of the snow white/ winnie the pooh ride and phillarmagic and peter pan ride

I didn't know the fireworks were that far behind the castle! I love the view but I still think it's better to stand in front of the castle and watch wishes.

My family and I got the wishes show 3 nights ina row from 3 different angles last one being front and center. This one though is amazing ... Thank YOU for sharing

i was just there 3 weeks ago. me and my family go yearly to disney world sometimes more. i love it there, so happy. :) these fireworks always make me feel happy and fuzzy inside. especially on the last day, which make me sad. i hate leaving disney world. i'll just stay in the hollywood tower hotel. haha :b
