@rickalex21 When there is no back support you basically have to use your legs to keep your core tight and your body planted. Otherwise you will just flop over. Thanks for the comment.

when i bench press i have my feet down infront of the bench and when i feel like im not going to get the last rep i lift my arse of the bench an push, is there a better way?

Well it certainly looks like you are on the right track. My guess would be that the only thing really seperating you from getting a lot stronger is your calorie intake. You are a big guy and really lean. Obviously since you press 315 x 5 you are no doubt strong and doing things right. When I was lean enough to have good abs I was only tripling 315 so that just goes to show what the added total calories do. Also, I would recommend doing more heavy sets below 5's. Heavy singles, dubs and trips.

I get inspired by all lifters. You, Randy and anyone else dedicated in the sport. Everyone seems to have their own thing that they excel in. Just tuck the bar into your hips then in one motion, extend your hips as you clean. Seems to make a gigantic difference. You better go 260. I have 255 in me at any time! Come and get it, old balls!

It was all about the clean for me. I watched videos online and found that using form from the whip snatch (bringing bar into hip joint, then launching it) I can clean much easier than before. The 250 was nothing to clean. I was destroying all energy just getting the bar to my shoulders before with my 225/230 singles. Bring it, old fella!
Yeah, those cleans looked very, very easy for you. I am not even sure I can clean 255 lbs at this time....240 lbs is the most I have ever tried, or done at this point in time. But you know I will give it a try one of these days...

No way man. You will see. I am no longer a gear whore, I get really sore after all of my workouts and my old lifts are not comparible with my new lifts. HAHA no sandbagging, man. Remember I did 365x2 on bench and hit 235 Barely. I almost hit 5 reps with 365 so it only makes sense that my pressing power is better. Also, my new form for getting the weight to my shoulders (too ugly too call a clean) saves me an insane ammount of energy.

ok, i train 1 bodypart per day, i normally do about 6 different exercises for it, reps ranging from 5-10. i take in alot of protein.

Check your tags. Make sure that you put on your tags what it is. So for you put " max effort shoulder press no back rest 75 pounds x 1" lol.

I am lighter by 30 pounds and don't wear a belt. I am starting to really have to put effort in to make gains. This beltless shit is fun but really tough for me since I am tall and wobbly.

I was up a few pounds, but when I weighed myself yesterday I was back down. I fluctuate a lot. I am like a giant sponge. I drink a lot of wine with dinners and shit and on those days I retain water big time.

Hah well if you guys seen a few weeks ago, I FINALLY got Randy on these with a 235. I posted a vid before bed. I woke up at 4am for work and he went to his basement at 1am and made a video beating me! He rubbed it in hard too! lol. Anyways, that vid has motivated me for weeks. Now the ball is in my court. This is well beyond my old strength for this excercise. Remember I was at one time stronger, but I was also much heavier so there is really no comparison. I am 228 right now. I can weigh myself for ya if you dont believe me. I was 235 the day of the broadjump because I had two consecutive dinner parties! I ate LOTS!

Hey we actually are pretty well the same thickness. I just think I make up extra weight from my few inches of height. Supposed to be 6 pounds per inch.

HAHA no sandbagging, man. Remember I did 365x2 on bench and hit 235 Barely. I almost hit 5 reps with 365 so it only makes sense that my pressing power is better. Also, my new form for getting the weight to my shoulders (too ugly too call a clean) saves me an insane ammount of energy.
