@mfex187, I would say it's about the same. The stock canister has a heat shield on it to reflect heat. However, the Leo Vince is made out of titanium which doesn't get as hot but doesn't have the heat shield. In the end I'd say it's about equal. Great exhaust system.
@disposablemonkey, these are the stock headlights. yes, i do have the high (full) beams on. i ride with them on full beam all the time....gotta be as visible as possible!
@TheAxeaman thanks for the compliment about my bike and the exhaust. I think the canister looks like it should...it's modeled after a true race exhaust. However, there are probably some slightly better looking systems out there, but oh the SOUND!! When you hear this thing ripping through the gears the look of the pipe is the last thing on your mind :)
@ctwbluejay Yeah, it sounds awesome. One time at work, and I heard this motorcycle revving and then driving away(with a Leo Vince). I almost screamed "LEO VINCE", because it was sounded so great! :D
@dwarf, the daytona is the best of these 3 bikes in all these categories in my opinion. personal preference though, always go with what YOU like the best.
@wickwire19, the exhaust heat does not seem to affect the taillight at all. Being a titanium slip on canister it really doesn't get as hot as you'd think. For example, just seconds after turning the bike off after a long ride you can touch the canister directly without burning yourself. Glad to hear you went with this system and i hope you enjoy it as much as i do!! Can't wait for the vid.
@wickwire19, yes this is the slip on model. I suppose the full system might be a little lighter and louder but this one is great for me. Any other questions just let me know.
wow that's a nice looking bike, just discovered this guy. I'm planning to get either a yzf-r6, zx6r, or maybe one of these, do you have any advice/knowledge on these other bikes?
@willb023, thanks for the compliment! First of all, I'd HIGHLY recommend this bike. As for these 2 other bikes I don't have any specific knowledge about them other than they are 600cc class bikes that have very similar performance figures. For me, I was drawn to the Triumph because of the undeniable performance, styling, and finally because I wanted to have something a little more unique. To this day, I've only seen 2 other Daytonas on the road. I like that personally.
NahtanhaB, Thanks for the compliment!! Yes, this is just the titanium slip-on exhaust. I've heard from friends the full system is only slightly louder/better performing and for me this was more cost conscious. Other mods I'd recommend: K&N air filter, high intensity headlights, and the Arrow race tune on the engine. In the end though it's all personal preference :). Can't really go wrong when you start with the Daytona as a platform. Cheers to you as well from a cold America Midwest!
The Arrow race tune probably doesn't do much for the sound but with the better "breathing" the engine is doing with the exhaust and intake the tune does help. However, you will be running just a touch rich on your fuel/air mix so dont be concerned if you notice a bit of black smoke on hard revs :). Safe riding, bud! I'm located in the heart of the USA, Kansas City...great riding weather here recently :).
That's only the canister. Also, it's got the Arrow race tune on it and a K&N air filter. My buddies keep telling me it sounds just awesome when I ride, but I have yet to get any video of it to hear myself. Where are you located? Thanks for the compliments!
Hey there. A fender eliminator is a kit that removes the factory fender that holds the license plate and rear turn signals. The kit I used to have relocated the license plate right above the rear tire and integrated the turn signals into the rear brake light, but like I said I kept getting pulled over. So, I bought the Jardine kit and am happy with the set up. Basically it's just a product that gives the bike a cleaner look.
Triumph 675 riders are more picky about quality and performance. Hence we sell a lot of 675 pipes even though there aren't that many 675s on the road. Thanks for posting. I'm noting in videos that 675 riders are often really good riders. Mount the camera...take us for a ride.
i getting this bike, 2008, pcIII. professionally mapped, cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4-Stroke?
Chamilitary93 2 years ago
@Chamilitary93 yes this is a 4-stroke bike. I don't know for sure, but i don't think there are too many 2-stroke bikes out there over about 250cc.
ctwbluejay 2 years ago
ovvio, ci sta pure bisogno di chiederlo??? -.-"

@Chamilitary93 .. That is incorrect, it is an inline 3 cylinder.

hey, goodmorning.
I got the same bike like you do;) Sweet ride,
my question:
Is it a full leovince system? or only the last part?
Im going to install the leovince alsow, but if this sound is just from the muffler, i will only install that.
Thnq! and keep the rubber on the down side;)

This is the best sounding bike ive ever heared, id pay £7,000-£8,000 for your Triumph, even though new is cheaper.
