  • I'm a logger, and I work in Cameron County a lot. During the summer, It's nothing to hear two or three of them as you're walking through the brush in some areas of the county. What area of Cameron County was this?

  • @TheDewManchoo Sorry, we do not give out exact locations.

  • I finally saw my first two rattlesnakes in PA today-a dark phase and a light. Right on the trail I was walking in Fayette County. It let out a low hiss and that's how I saw it. But they seem like very docile snakes. Cool video

  • just kill it on sight then put it in the tube

  • r u from PA? we have some big ass ones here in PA

  • This is really cool, where in Pa though ?. cause i live there too

  • unless ur a pussy then go ahead. and they use poles and shit if ur ganna not kill it just pick the damn thing up by the tail and if ur ganna kill it just shoot it right there

  • @2041022 under pa law your not allowed to shoot them.

  • @Leatherwoodoutdoors fuck pa law

  • everyone out of texas wears those huge leg things but theres no point a rattle snake cant strike past ur knee so if ur ganna wear snake boots get ones that go to ur knee

  • @2041022 we wear them because when if you happen to slip on a rock or a snake is setting up high on a rock they can get you above the knee.

  • very nice, I go by the pipelines in crossfork for the snake hunt with some buddies,..we always catch some big yellow phases

  • wouldent a catch pole be beter

  • @milkhitter They are illegal under Pa law for use in catching snakes.

  • snake is realy good.

  • Aside from exceptional cases, a healthy adult male isn't going to die within 2 hours from a C. horridus bite. You'd more than likely die after getting a bill from the hospital though.

  • the camera mans got a big ole dip in lol

  • i have always heard rumors that we have these timber rattlers here in Upstate NY mainly in the Adirondack mnts.... but all my years hunting, and camping i have never seen one

  • im comming up and want to go out huntting let me know if you will take me

  • u da man

  • Wha a terrifying creature, he didn't even strike. He was trying to get away the entire time.

  • thats crazy man. you guys do everything i love to do. i live in pa also. i hunt for snakes, recuve hunt and everything. we need to meet up some time

  • wtf why didnt you just put a round in its head!!????

  • @fonzosajew because they're endangerd you dumbass

  • bullshit u never been there

  • That was totally badass.

  • I'd suggest purchasing some different equipment to secure the head of a rattlesnake in a much more efficient manner. That snake was particularly calm despite your early efforts to hold the head down to get him in the tube. Overall, very cool video!

  • Do you know if there is a population of Timber Rattlers here in Bedford County?

  • @step4525 Yes they are there.

  • @Leatherwoodoutdoors i want to go collect the black ones shoot me a email at absolutebest07@yahoo.com

  • @1verren we dont take anyone out with us, sorry.

  • u are crazy...did u ever get bit?

  • @MrHunterBrian I have been lucky, Never got bit.

  • so why do you kill these rattlers i just found a whole den the other day and although i like to catch them i would never kill one they take way to long to reproduce and very few of their young make it, there populations are dwindling not like deer as you said in another vid of yours?

  • @MrPheelingphine We kill for food and for skins. Plus most of the locals like to see them killed because they find them close to their homes. Not because there are more people but because the populations are rising. Just last year they found a new population of them in clarion county. There are more out there than what people think. I never said they are dwindling, and if they are then good! There are too many. I bet I could find more snakes than deer in some places where we hunt them

  • Cool vid. We have a cabin up in Potter county, seen a few up there over the years.

  • do you think there are any rattlers in lancaster county??

  • @rcarlisi63 Hmm I dout it. I have never heard of anyone seeing one around there

  • you could just mark on your stick how long 42 inches is so there would be no need to whip out a measuring tape. just a thought

  • Wow man, I'd be scared shitless! That takes some skill and for that I give you props. Congrats, stay safe and keep on hunting!

  • your makin me jump and i dont know y

  • Awesome!!!!!!! I was taught a total different way, buy your methods are "snake friendly" & respectful. Thanx for posting the vid. I will take what I learned from you on my next hunt.

  • u got balls!

  • I got to hand it to you. I would shit..lol I dont even like findind them by accident!
