  • I still prefer the Marvin Heemeyer version as that was reality.

  • a lot of folk, going on about it running out of fuel... the reason the plot gave is because "it meteoric power never needed fuel to run", when i was a kid and still now think though, " i would have just ran up and sat in the thing lol, it cant exactly scratch its nose.... classic film though.

  • Amazing that the men on this building site couldn't run fast enough to get out of the bulldozer's way!

  • Killdozer: The story of one man's plight to go swimming.

  • I like the sequel better starring Marvin Heymeyer

  • can ANYONE tell me what piece of music comes on 30 seconds in? That's beautiful

  • Why is the brother always the first to go ? I'm just sayin' !

  • @freedoomofspeech he was the second in the movie, download it, hell it only lasts an hour and ten minutes!!!!!

  • The contractor's name is "Warburton". Oh, the irony..

  • Wow, the token nigger gets killed off early!!

  • Saw this when I was 8, parents went out and I stayed up . Good time was had by me and the baby sitter . She banged her boyfriend and I watched Killdozer . Looks pretty dumb now though .

  • @kingmikeod

Wow. Was you one of my friends then. That same exact sequence happened at my house also.... On Cape Cod

  • I swear these are deleted scenes from "Shaking Hands With Danger"

  • Thats right! Todays movies look real but feel manufactured.

'70s looked cheap but felt very real!

  • I remember when I was a little kid, maybe 6 or 7, I saw Killdozer and Snowbeast on T.V. maybe a week apart. I thought for about a month that they were the coolest movies ever. Wow, did I have bad taste, even for a little kid.

  • i tried to watch but this shit gave me motion sickness

  • There should be a prequel to the killdozer incident where the guy who did that and the tank guy are together being brainwashed into committing acts of mass destruction with giant machinery as a result of a military-industrial complex conspiracy for some reason.

  • "Ok sweetheart, DESRTOY! hahaha!

  • This movie is amazing, watching a 50 ton grumbling machine chugging forward at 2 miles an hour making enough noise to be heard a mile away, but yet, manages to sneak up on everyone and eventually kill them..... Killdozer : The 2 mile an hour menace...... Dumbest fkn idea for a movie since Killer Tomatoes...

  • I actually watched this in the early 1970's. I was around 5 years old lol.

  • That opening shot is a direct lift from 1934's INVISIBLE RAY...distant past, meteor streaks toward Earth, meteor hits Africa...yeah, it's INVISIBLE RAY all right, only far worse.

  • i just wasted 7 min and 22 sec of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the gayest movie ever made!!! whoever came up with this really needs to go to the bathroom instead of wasting his time making a crappy movie like this!! lol!

  • black guy always dies....

  • upn

  • lmfao @ 6:30

    "you stink!"

  • Is that Spencer: for Hire?

  • @mengle2004 Yes it's Robert Urich. See my later video of Urich on Conan where he talks about Killdozer

  • My husband remembers watching this movie. I guess really bad movies can scar you for life.

  • this movie is PRIME for a remake.

  • HHAHAhaHAhAhahahaHAhAHHAhaaAahaha

I appreciate the lulz that you have harvested and refined for the pleasure of this viewing audience.

  • looks like davesfarm :)

  • @freebirth777

Love Davids Farm His dozer is a International. A tad bit smaller . We should suggest that Dave does a spoof remake of this flick. Have the dozer push boulders over and down sky hill and have "redneck rickem" driving the Jeep as he wants to go for a swim at Daves pond, only to discover, theres Dave with the dozer about to run him over. Others scream,"lets get outta here" Then Jen arrives with the backhoe to fend of the dozer. In the end the dozer gets blown up by a car airbag..

  • lol @ the wu-tang clan-like symbol on their hardhats.

  • I remember watching it. It was only ever televised once in the UK - I'm sure?

Cool - tongue in cheek stuff.

  • Dam i want this movie!!

  • Never seen this movie, but named my Kubota L3250 'Killdozer' a long time ago.

  • I remember watching this when I was 8 yrs old...great stuff! Thanks for the post.

  • I'M GOIN SWIMMIN!!!!

  • Tvguido, after watching this clip again I now consider this to be one of the top alien-controlled bulldozer movies ever made. The hunky all male cast doesn't look like the village people at all. Sorry for the mix up.

  • @jamesandrew2000 Now that's the spirit. I look forward to seeing the D'9er in the last episode of LOST!

  • TVguido,I am sorry for thinking this looks like a gay porno. Upon viewing it again I realize now that this is the greatest alien controlled bulldozer movie ever made. The buff, sweaty all male cast doesn't look like the village people in any way.

  • machine that was it? seems a D9 cat ... am I right?

  • Yeah its a D'9er as it is mentioned by name in the movie.

  • Looks like 70s gay porn.

  • That's not easy to find. Well you ought to know.

  • @jamesandrew2000

    what does that look like?

  • They should re-make this in 3D.

Imagine being in the cinema and seeing the D-9 coming towards you "out of the screen"!

  • wouldn't it eventually run out of gas?

  • Yeah but it's being remote controlled by aliens and is likely running on the sense of fear of the surviving workees. Running on evil really. As a child watching it at the time I really believed that!

  • Note the sonic vibration that the mechanic was 'unable to locate' in the shovel before it goes on its solo killing spree. Gotta be some kind of alien energy source!

  • @racinlegend yeah i know right

  • @racinlegend Nope never ever. Its the KILLDOZER!!!!! it runs on diesel.

  • @racinlegend diesel,not gas but yes,it would

  • @racinlegend

Yup, but it figured how to dig a ditch by the fuel dump, cornered a 50gal fuel can with its blade and did a refuel. Clever eh!

  • i love this movie. i remember watching this with my dad. i recall the part where the black guy crawls into a pipe and gets it! cool movie.

  • He's so lazy. He wouldn't walk over to the 'dozer. He had to drive his jeep. Ha ha ha.

  • you people are stupid to be arguing this movies credibility. just shut up & laugh to Conan's recommendation!

  • @FRIIK45 Killzozer had a profound affect on my upbringing as it was the most memorable TV movie that I could understand. The concept of isolation and fear was very well turned out. Also the concept of comradery, something you don't see now on TV where it is all about backstabbing and sole survival!

  • @TVGuido You're gay for Dozer!

  • God's, I LOVE CLINT WALKER!!! He is a MAN!!

  • hey tvguido this movie sucks balls and yes i have worked building sites and yes i was nearly squashed by a teleporter and yes you need help. when was it made.. 1973 what else was made that year ? Texas chainsaw massacre; now thats a proper CULT movie.

  • They don't make them like this anymore. Its actually realistic in tone even if farfetched in theme,

Yeah like LOST makes any sense in 2009?

Well here's a secret for you, Killdozer is the final episode of LOST!!

  • The LOST script was teleported to 1973 and then LOST was teleported to now. That's the story!

  • This is kind of creepy but not as creepy as Roo-Boy the Marsupial child in The Despicable movie trailer part one!

  • They should do a remake, only with a D11, starring Ed Harris, and Mike Rowe (of Dirty Jobs and Grainger catalog fame)...Mike would do it! Not sure about Ed.

  • killdozer is a caterpillar d9g. RIGHT??

  • The Marvin Heemeyer Killdozer is a Komatsu D335 dont know what this one is..

  • "...maybe we should appeal to its sense of decency and fair play!" HAHA

  • This is the craziest plot I've ever seen. I heard about this movie. It supposed to be a cult classic.

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid!!!

I've hunted for it for years, and was told it was no longer available. Does anyone know how to get a copy ??I'd gladly pay to have this on DVD. Thanks for posting!

  • Next to "The Horror At 37,000 Feet," this is one of my fave 1970s TV movies..... so nuts it's wonderful!

  • Now I know where Stephen King got his idea for Maximum Overdrive

  • ''Hey! you know what id like to do? go swimmin'' LOL

  • SciFi channel should do a remake.

  • For the record Beltrane never heard the order to not operate the D9. The mechanic, what his name, Chuck? forgot to put a tape or sign around it. Blame him. This movie was a classic, trust me!

  • Loved it when i was a kid but surely you ca out run a friggin CAT D9?

  • No you can't outrun a D-9, at least not in high gear. And they can turn on a dime , directly to the right or left by running one track only. A nine with a ripper attached to the back weighs

    125,000 lbs.

  • thanx 4 upload! post the bit where they electrocute the sucker!

  • it might be a 18a d9 ,

  • CONAN WAS RIGHT THIS MOVIE ROCKS.

  • yeaaah killdozer

  • The guy behind teh controls of teh dozer is a young robert urick

  • i have only seen the beginning of this movie but i want to see the whole movie now

  • Great Video. Quick Question. Can someone behind the controlls of a Bulldozer really move its plow side to side when the plow is on top something like Killdozer did?

  • You can angle the blade, like a seesaw (sp?) and you can turn the blade left and right, so that the material is pushed to one side of the machine. This appears to be a D9 cat, but not real sure.

  • Wish someone could post the whole movie, Clint Walker was great.

  • my papa is looking for this movie..... any idea where i might could find it? i have checked amazon and ebay. if you know where please send my a personal message or comment back! thanks all!!!!!!!!!

  • Good question! I saw this movie as a VHS at a trash/cult video store that still had old videos in stock. The store was called Suspect Video in Toronto, and they likely still have a copy, for RENT only. I think it was a 'grey' market type of item. They had 2 stores but one of them burned down in Feb of this year. I can't remember which of the stores it was I saw it at.

  • Actually, this is a film version of a tale by Theodore Sturgeon, one of the finests American Science Fiction writers

  • Thanks for this information. I wonder if the story matches up with the movie interpretation, or is different.

  • In the book, it's a D7, otherwise pretty much the same.

  • A meteor hits earth, and the BULLDOZER is the threat?! It'd expect the meteor to do something more devastating...

  • That would be boring.

The meteor was only a plot device so the Cat could come to life.

  • I like this movie, it's not bad.

  • I GOT IT! well make a newer better version of this only well use an excavator with a thumb attachment or grapple so it can pick up its victims and toss/squish/and hold them hostege lol

  • How about a killer train! Killdiesel!

  • Meh, doesn't have the same ring to it?

  • lol
