@846adil - Yes, you can use your mouse with the docking station, generally you don't need it cause the screen is multitouch. Strongly recommend waiting for the Asus TE Prime - Man, is that a great tablet. Is capable of upgrading to Ice Cream Sandwich! Should be released 8 to 12 Dec.

i have Asus transformer and after 3.2 update it is smooth as silk. guys Asus te is the best android tablet out there and if you buy the keyboard dock too zoom doesn't stand a chance in comparison.

Shop here has Xoom and Transformer next to each other, I tried out both at same time, loading webpages and scrolling etc - xoom was much faster and smoother. Transformer was laggy and jerky. Makes my decision harder becuase I went in thinking I was gonna get the Asus but now having second thoughts.

why the video is so slow on trasnformer is because u got to much running in background, disable all apps and do test again next time, and ull see it runs smootly 1080P MP4 runs briliant on asus transformer! so its ur apps in background man!

Can someone tell me how are the speakers on the asus transformer? I know the xoom is pretty good except the speaker placement could be better. The Toshiba Thrive is not great. Galaxy tab is really good like a laptop and so is ipad2. I dont know much about the transformers speakers.

The build quality on the Asus is not great, at least on mine. on the left side of mine, the glass bulges up, so its basically bending. i don't know if i should get a replacement or spend some extra money on the xoom. The stock web browser crashes frequently, so use Dolphin which is way better.

the reason the video runs more choppy on the transformer is because the xoom has 10.2 flash while the transformer has 10.1.

the playback issue on the transformer was fixed in android 3.1 and the xoom had the same issue when it was on 3.0 and at that point you said they were both running 3.0 but earlier you said that the xoom was 3.1 and the transformer was 3.0

Not a bad comparison review, just a few observations though. The transformer has an IPS (In-Plane Switching) screen not an ISP screen. Also Asus is pronounced eh-sus not ace-eus. Not huge errors in the scheme of things but if you want to be taken seriously for tech reviews it is important to get these details right.

I have never heard an American say e-fer-net, they may say Ethernet but that is not that same as Internet they are 2 different things. Ethernet is a technology standard specified in 802.3 whereas the Internet is a network. Either way Asus is a proper noun so should be said the same no matter who says it, just like a person's name.

For example, Americans say 'Wrath' as in Rath (Raf).  & Aussies say 'Wrath' as in Roth (Rof).

Some Brits and Aussies may mispronounce the TH in all words as F but that doesn't mean it's right and other countrymen will pronounce the TH as TH. But the most important reason is the name Asus is a shortand version of the original company name Pegasus so is pronounced the same as the second syllable of Pegasus.
