  • I love the song. But it's so much better with the solos in it. But I still love Blackie Lawless. Long W.A.S.P.

  • if this song doesn't touch your feelings you're not human

  • who the f**k would dislike this !?!?!?

  • 5*****!!!!

  • After 25 years .. Idol still a "post" Last Command album. It just doesn't matter. This is NOT WASP.. someone congratulate Blackies girl at the time or whatever but this? this is not WASP.. rubbish.

  • obviously you a dumbass. This is Blackie at probably his best. Last Command sucked....and I loved wasp back then also. Blind in Texas....is as lame and commericial as it gets (you probably like that song)...just ask BL himself...he hates that era of his music especially The Electric Circus album...he called it a joke. This album was the great resurrection of Blackie.

  • This brought tears to my eyes. What a song!

  • guys, who knows, where i can download instrumental or karaoke version of this amazing song?

  • ITS MAKE ME CRY

  • that song started a new age in the music

  • wasted love... loves sets me free ...wheres the love..

  • Yes a hebrew education is nessessary or you won't progress spiritualy or musicaly.

so that you can know true love and the true meaning of a rose.

Thats why I'm compelled to get blackie lawless a ligitimate hebrew education.

  • @azkeyz

    you're fucked in the head.

  • @azkeyz. I'm sorry aren't you, the JEWS, the one who crucified Jesus? And actually believe that Jesus was not and is not the son of god and only believe in the old testament? Just a thank you my friend...because of your descendents...all of us are now welcome into heaven. I'm sure Mr. BL has ten times more knowledge of your damn hebrew education since he has been a pupil of numerous religions for over 30 years. Just think...your people crucified christ...how stupid can your people be?

  • Love is Yahushua Ha Mashiach , and we all need need him now in this post 911 world.

I'm working on getting blackie lawless a ligitimate hebrew education.

  • The 'Where is the love..' part sent shivers down my spine.

  • great GREAT song!!!

  • Blackies razor-like vocals...Awesome !

  • there are perfect songs... and there are songs better then any perfection, no doubt what this one is...

  • one word... Blackie

  • fav song......one of my fav albums.....

    LONG LIVE

    LONG LIVE

    THE KING OF MERCY

  • Vrh brate

  • It's unbealiveble how much this version is great..

  • ta re peola

  • this song really tells us how some celeberties just faded in their fame. awsome song.

  • In tears.

I fuckin LOVE this track. All time favorite song, from my all time favorite album, from one of my all time favorite bands.

The Idol saved my life. I was going through hell in 1992, and was on the verge of ending it all. Pills & Vodka out. Listening to Crimson Idol, then as I took the first couple of pills, this track came on. Almost knocked me off my feet. EVERY word in this track is what I was going through.

    Now its my personal Anthem.

LONG LIVE THE KING OF MERCY

  • great story!

  • I'm glad you're still with us. I've been to a dark place in my life and music pulled me out of it. I'm just happy that it worked for someone else.

  • @Nagrom0709 Thats one hell of a story my friend, thats the power of rock, not always destructive as some people believe, it is also inspirational and a tremendous source of hope and good.

I trust you have since lived your life to the full and have nothing but positive energy which you give out

  • @bluerosexx1 right on!

  • @Nagrom0709 Thats the power of music man. Too bad that kind of inspiration and power is lacking in todays music.

  • Blackie Lawless is Charisma!

    Love forever, and hail Lawless!

  • My fav song, fav album, probably fav songwriter. Great

  • INCREDIBLE!!!!!

  • One of the best concept albums ever!

Timeless, powerful and touching at the same time... EPIC!

  • i don't get why he forgets the first part " will i be alone this morning...)

  • I've seen other live versions and the video - in both he never played the "Intro" or how i should call the "will i be alone this morning..." part.

btw. I totally agree: one of the best concept albums i know and definitly the best calm song i know.

    Hail Lawless, he s awesome

  • yeah, but honestly i still don't know why, this "intro " is fucking beautiful. Cheers dude

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah totally agree, that riff is close to perfection

  • Blackie is my Crimson Idol!!! Dude Blackie is the best...this 1992 record is better than Nevermid by Nirvana...WASP rulezz Grunge sucks...

  • the best version

  • I agree 100%

  • I think this is part of the magic of the WASP's songs - this backing vocals effect; just like Beatles, Queen and many others band

  • MASTER!!!!

  • Nice slideshow Queen!

Love that guitar work, and Blackie...His voice is so killer! He sounds like an Angel with black wings,,,,

  • kinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • Blakie is god!!!

  • Blackie is myth!

  • who is making the backing vocals??? They have very similar voice!I always had that question. Now Mike duda, has similar voice to blackie

  • Blackie merely overdubbed his vocals on this track, the same can be said about all his live albums.

What you are hearing Live nowadays is taped backing vocals which are already pre-recorded vocal tracks supplied by Blackie. The rest of the band does backing vocals, but Blackie still adds them.

  • oh... actually i don't really like that...But thanks.. I was really confused how someone could sound exactly like blackie!

  • yeah its overdubbed to high hell.

  • Bands demand the larger then life yet artificial backing vocal approach for their choruses.

But you don't need backing vocals to make your songs more powerful...power comes from within the heart, not from within a studio.

  • listen to a song like"restless gypsy" and imagine it without backing vocals,it would sound kinda hollow,so imafraid i cannot agree with you that power comes from the heart.

  • There is nothing wrong with backing vocals, but there are some songs that have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many of them. U.D.O.'s cry soldier cry is a good example.

I've seen Blackie play an acoustic medley live without backing vocals, that to me was better then all the backing vocals in the world in my opinion.

    Take care for now.

  • This is Johnny Rod singing backup, the former bass player.

  • Actually I'm quite sure that it's Johnny Rod whos singing backing vocals. You can find one live recorded by MTV, where Blackie and Johnny played Hold On To My Heart and The Idol live..

  • its johnny rod for sure. he and my sister used to be friendly

  • i think blackie's doing them himself, with a mic effect, but i'm not sure

  • "Kiss away the pain and leave me lonely,

    I'll never know if love's a lie"

    Awesome song

  • 1. relaxing
