i just dont understand why these videos are only limited to people in highschool. bullies exist even outside the realm of school. Im 21 andin university , lets just say i deal with hypocrites every single day and I have no one to identify with. That being said i love these videos and the message the true blood cast is sending.

If you do, I'll remember why I don't like something about myself all that much!". It's the only truth.

You ever wonder why a perfectly fit person makes fun of someone overweight? It's because they feel superior from the beginning, otherwise they wouldn't say shit. I'm friends with many "obsessively" training people (fitness or bodybuilding) and they have all admitted they feel a little insecure about their bodies and *IF* they make fun of/hated fat people it's because they reminded them of their older selves/bodies, which they wanted to forget... you know?

I definitely think Sam's is my favorite of the TB cast It Gets Better videos. Rather than going into a story about his own experiences (perhaps he wasn't bullied and therefore doesn't have one) he addressed the problem and I really like that.
I understand that most of the recent suicide's are people struggling with their sexuality, but I hope you guys know not all of the people killing themselves are doing so because they are gay. I myself have tried to kill myself due to the fact my family treats me poorly all because I am different. My chioce of clothes, my chioce of future, my chioce of lifestyle is very different from what they planned for me. And instead of supporting me, they only shut me out. And that is why I hurt so badly.
@racheladams456 My family treated me similarly. Now I'm 25 and have been living on my own for six years. I can say from experience that I feel better and more confident in myself now. If you still aren't getting support from your family, surround yourself with supportive friends. That's how I made it through.
Great message, glad to hear that this is so important to the actors involved. I'm all for tolerance, no matter who it is or whether it affects me or not.
