as much as i love the rest of this,

i dont really think this captures the original song very well.

the piano perfectly matched the ever so slightly gritty, yet soft as velvet voice,

which all seems to have been lost.

dont get me wrong, i mean i love the rest of this, and i do admire the 8bit version of the song, i just dont think that the song can be justified doing it like this.

it could just be the limitations of 8bit, but i think you could have chosen better instruments.
