  • I like the wall paint

  • Everything there except the Bergen is obselete. The new 2011 issue Bergen is 125 Liter and covered in Molle. Nice piece of kit. The new CTS Ruck Canada has is just a Internal Frame civie pack.

  • You are missing the best pack of all of them, the ILBE from the Marines Corps. Lot of space, internal frame and very bersatile.

  • @vwvr6t never seen it! Is it new? I'm out of the Army now so I have to look into this.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Could you explain why the military pack there sacks heavy on the shoulders while civi's pack there weight low and on the hips?

  • Great job sarge

  • i would of thought the british army was the best and im not saying that cos im English by the way, are you Canadian army ?

  • @danwormald I was in the Canadian Army. I'm out now.

    Thanks for watching

  • do you need a frame for the pattren 82 rucksack

  • @LucilleFisher1 yes you do. The straps hook onto the frame.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Great break down of the packs Sarge. I have the 82 strapped on an ALICE frame and a medium ALICE moded out to the extreme. You mentioned a cadpat tarp that you use to cover over your gear. Was it military issue or after market and where could I get my hands on it. Cadpat rocks

    Nate

  • ya cant wait til i join the reserves in about9 months!(hopefully) also does anyone know where i would be able to get a 64 pattern steel frame for the rucksack?(just the frame)

  • Check out Tactical Tailor for ALICE Packs mods. Great Video-Cheers !

  • @Patriotalliance Will do thanks.

  • like the digital background camoflauge.

  • @H1tmarkEr Ya! it is cool stuff.

    Thanks foe watching

  • i recking tht u guys in canada should buy the british PLCE army issue bergens/packs

standerd at 120lt or 135lt, alot more simple and compact easy to use and handle, i mean shit ur half way there are countrys already have huge similarities, with ranks, drill, uniform, only thing is we do have better snipers haha lol.

  • @FERTILIZER94 lol nice dig but it is a CDN with the longest kill shot. Are new backs resemble the Brit packs (I love them).

    Thanks for the comment.

  • A lot of pros/cons for each pack. Alice large 62 litre pack is still a favourite but heavy! with steel frame but pack has endless modifications. British army bergen 100 litre plus capacity is a good choice for long forrays, Highlander UK makes a quality version. Canadian army 64/82 pattern packs are obsolete, better options like a US molle II pack or a Marines ILBE. I have an Italian army alpine 65 litre pack. Everything here is available on E-bay if you search around. You pack it you carry it!

  • @victoryorvalhalla09 great info man, thanks for sharing!

  • Great video, very informative. Thanks for taking the time to upload!

  • This is the best pack video I've seen. I hear that you wear the 82 pat webbing around your hips so that you can carry the pack at the same time. Will that work with the ALICE pack as well?? or is it incompatible?

  • @Rossco139 sorry it took so long to get back to you I don't go on this site to much. I have used the ALICE with my Webbing with no issues.

  • Cool video i plan on joining when im 16 (reserves) right now im trying to improve my vision and get fit.

  • @PcGamerPaul Thanks for watching! Good luck with the Army thing you will love it!
