How much does a leg cost? More than a car or a video camera? Does the American Health care system have any funding for some thing as vital as this or would the manufacturers of athlethic legs donate a demo or research model after they have finished with it? Will Obamas medicade help with prosthetics? We can spend trIllions on war and land mines but not 50k FOR A MANS LEG?

@murraykat a below-knee prosthetic can cost from 6-8 grand, but for an above knee which my dad has costs from 15,000-35,000. ya its ridiculous.
