Великий человек,но мне больше нравится "I've always thought of you"(кто-нибудь знает чье оно?).Mне всегда было интересно это невероятный талант или невероятное усердие?
getting kind of sick of reading this comment on EVERY Tommy video!... He is a genius and I do agree with you, but yeah no need for putting it on every track

@caggado It's called Antonella's Birthday. What an awesome tutorial, and given by the great one himself! Gonna try to start playing this when I get home... have been discouraged because it looks so hard, but he makes it look so easy to play.
for sure. I just feel like Tommy has so much practice and better grasp of music and how it influences emotion, don't get me wrong, Andy does too. I feel that Tommy does it better, though.
I agree. Andy, who I've seen live actually more times than I have Tommy, plays everything the exact same way every time. He does not, so I'm assuming cannot, let the music flow without rehearsing exactly what he's going to play note for note like Tommy can. Tommy is 1000 times the entertainer that Andy is too. I appreciate Andy's music, but to be honest, he's rather boring on stage. Tommy, not so much..
Mmmm yeah i see what you mean ay. tommy has always described himself as "an entertainer who just happens to play guitar", and its very true, whereas andy is just a guitarist. i probably shouldnt say "just" a guitarist, coz he is pretty darn amazing. but think about this, can you imagine them playing eachother's songs? like say tommy playing "drifting" and andy playing "luttrell"? doesnt seem right ay. why? different styles, thats why :)
actually, in order to figure stuff like that out, and to be able to play it consistently, you have to keep track of the rhythm while you play: 1 - and - 2 - and 3 - and 4 -and, or even 16th notes. Enjoy!
Tommy, you are simply a joy to behold. If you read this, just know you're in the prayers of music lovers everywhere. Rest up during the holidays and cherish your family's presence around you. This coming year, I will get some of your instructional DVDs and REALLY learn to play-even after 39 years of picking. Peace.
Tommy's the man!!

What both and Tommy have, that most musicians neglect, is a real understanding of rhythm. For some people that's intuitive.
