He misunderstands what constitutes a strawman argument, but I was astounded to see that some of his arguments here actually made sense. Not all of them, certainly, and he mistook as atheist arguments some that were actually pondered by monks way back in the Middle-Age and some of his "refutations" ignored the background of the atheist arguments and thus did not really address their true point.

Still, I was astonished that he made some sense and he admitted that god and evolution could co-exist.

Yes, he did. What I was trying to say was that while he's wrongin the essence of his argument he's not wrong in every single point. That this constitutes a noteworthy achievement is, of course, damning the Creationist movement with faint praise but I still wanted to give credit where (little) credit is due.
