On Guitar Hero Van Halen, this so is much more difficult. It has more bass petal then this song. It has more notes. Rock Band just took it and made it less difficult even on Expert. So i have to say Rock Band sucks

@GamersCornerXL I'm actually going to have to disagree with you, as I've said before, this version actually more difficult than the on in GH. GH never even added the intro drum solo intro, which is a complete and total fail. Not to mention that triplet bass notes on one pedal are much more difficult than consistent double bass, and double bass in this song is super easy.

@CCBlackhawk This version is actually hard than the version on Van Halen. The triplets are way harder than the consistent double bass on the GH version. Although it's not more accurate, unfortunately Rock Band didn't integrate double bass into the game. Rock Band 3 will hopefully do that.

Dude that's the only thing good about GH VH, to play double bass. There was nothing special about it, it was just average.Rock band 2 DOES have double bass, it's just that it doesn't have a dedicated category for it. This is one of the earlier songs, so it doesn't have it.. And no, I have every SINGLE GH and RB game out there, with a shit ton of DLC for both, so I'm not a fanboy of either.

No, its a certain amount of points you have to reach. You have to get pretty damn close to 100% though. Some songs you can gold star with a 98%, and if you have more than one person playing, one player can pick up the slack for another.

In one case I got 99% and my brother got %96 and we still gold stared it.

Rockband should make a new game with a "Real Drummer" difficulty that uses 7 pads, 3 cymbals and 4 drums. That way you ALWAYS know what to hit instead of having to listen to a song a few times to get it, I guess that would make it hard to fit on the screen though :/.

anyone looking to tackle this song as just being beat (3 stars if you dont care) I would just practice the intro solo till your sick of it. Also helps if you have a really good pedal, the stock rb2 pedal isnt...too great, I find its default position is too high and it feels a little harder to press down (hard to explain)

and it helps to literally pause the game during a drum fill to rest your foot, this song will put you to a true endurance test.
