You forgot to mention that hedge funds did their part on getting the world economy to the state it is now by making money out of bankruptcy and forcing whole countries economies to collapse, so that the investors can make some more money.
@d3ltadrive u have no idea, sry but if they didnt exist, i dont wanna know what these wealthy investors would do with their money otherwise, could be worse, dont just hate on them because everybodys doing it including politics, thats just too easy, but thats what humans are all about, find somebody to blame and then you dont have to know whats really going on

They are pretty much mutual fund without regulations for people of high net worth, only time a hedge fund really hurt the economy is LTCM in the 90's. And could you explain to me how a hedge fund is Keynesian? please lecture me, I have a degree in economic.

What are hedge funds, well it's simple. They were a horrible idea created by Keynesian economists and helped to destroy the economy.
