@saomylife22 Michigan is his escape, that's where he's from and he went to rehab there I believe. Lions and Tigers = Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers. "Mitten full of fisherman" + "Deep in the mitten where": Shape of the state looks like a mitten. "Double chins", "bowling pins": Michigan is known as a "fat state". My advice: Always LISTEN to a song, don't just HEAR it! ;)

This has nothing to do with rehab man. John left cause he had personal goals which were true to himself. Therefore, he followed them. True fans really should be happy that this process happened happy and amicably with everybody in the band. No hard feelings. Nothing but love and understanding for john. John has to do his own thing, you guys are forgetting he was in rehab for like 6 years. He has to come to understand his full ability/gift with music. We all want him to come back to the peppers, but he needs to examine his solo career. A lot of famous guys have done this and have come back better then before. John is already amazing, if he can bring back to the table everything+, we're in for a kick ass album 2012.
