  • Gosh I loved this Fight from Venus!!! Hope she brings that in 2012!

  • @eizyaws Hope not, she can comeback but only to the wheelchair competition. Isn't it funny? Pongo on a wheelchair it will so adorable

  • This 3rd round match, and her 1st round match primed Venus for the rest of the tournament. Maria Sharapova didn't stand a chance the next round and her confidence grew. It was over for the rest.

Stop nit picking about Venus, look elsewhere.

  • Nice match from Akiko

  • @KadeKempson Of course Venus can be happy. It baffles me how people always have to argue at extremes: I merely said that I don't see at all how she is gracious. Doesn't mean she's downright ungracious and nasty. Thankfully, at least you gave a reason why you find her gracious, that she smiles whether she wins or loses. Which I don't agree with, but that's just my opinion, and you're entitled to your own.

  • Anyway I remember this match. Venus was double-faulting like crazy and really had to dig deep to win this match. Morigami hits a very good ball, Venus had trouble with her in Memphis earlier that year.

  • @kelvinpyaeko I certainly don't think that Venus is any more gracious than anyone else at the handshake. In fact, her bouncing up and down while shaking her opponent's hand looks impatient, gloating and very much in-your-face. Yes, I may be exaggerating, but do tell me where this perception of graciousness comes from, because I most definitely do not see it.

  • @taltaltel because she smiles every time she shakes hands whether she loses or wins and she actually looks her opponent in the eye rather than just doing a lil slap of the hand and not saying great match or great game like morigami did here

  • @taltaltel So Venus can't be happy when she wins a close match like this? Since when was bouncing up and down, smiling to your opponent, and generally being happy "ungracious"? Is Venus meant to be sad that her opponent couldn't win? REALLY? Venus IS one of the most gracious players in the tour today because she smiles and acknowledges her opponent even when she loses. If you can't see that, then is there any wonder your perception is lacking?

  • From 3:16 to 3:30...OMG!

  • a lot of opponents don't seem to appreciate the graciousness of venus at the handshake though.

  • @kelvinpyaeko Of course, she must be absolutely disappointed that she lost with such a chance. Most players you'll see like that, not just with Venus if they lose a match that the had a big chance to win in.

  • @kelvinpyaeko That's obviously because they are angry with themselves

  • @kelvinpyaeko yeah, they better should lick her Pongo-pussy

  • @fistnaut1 you are annoying, going around tennis videos and degrading players

  • epic comeback..thanks for the upload

  • Thanks!!! I remember Venus coming back from 3-5 in this match and then winning the title :)
