@Rhosius Well, the reality marble isn't much of a hint. The person he was before he became a Heroic Spirit wasn't shown using it in the anime. However, creating weapons is a much better hint for those who don't know. (I only say anime because you lean who he is in the movie and the VN.)

@nijian32 Rather then watching the anime, you should read the visual novel. if you don't know what a visual novel, it's a game where pretty much everything is reading with some visual effects, then once in a while you get an option of what to do (so you should just consider it a book with visuals and music where you decide a few things). It has 3 paths where the story differs. However, note that it is a H game, so there are 18+ scenes, but if you don't care about that then it's a good read.

Also, I love Rin for several reasons but one of them is that she is a perfect tsundere done right, not like the over-the-top ones you see all the time today

@ZeroneDY What does your opinion matter in this situation? It's the visual novel as compared to the anime and the movie, both of which failed hardcore. The only redeeming part of them being animated was seeing scenes acted out, and even those are weak because of framerates and the limits of modern animation. You just can't distill hours and hours of epic into 26 25-minute episodes or a 1.5-2 hour movie. Hoping to god the Fate/Zero and Heaven's Feel animes don't fail as badly.

@6infection Originally a visual novel, it is now known as a very epic Anime, though IMO the visual novel is 10x better, because its completely uncensored, and much more...descriptive towards what is going on. It even says in description how Emiya's guts are spilling out on the pavement, and it just seems soooo much better.
