this is symbolyic cuz 2004 was the sendoff.. World Of Warcraft came out that year & It was over.. an era had changed, 3 new consoles came out & sony lost It's direction & japanese rpg line-up fell by the wayside, then bethesda came onto the scene & call of duty in 07 sealed the deal for what THIS NEW GENERATION OF GAME PLAYERS CARED ABOUT & WANTED... This is hte 1 song that shoulda been in the1 & only real ps1 final fantasy 7!.This gets me nostalgic evry single time i hear it..final fantasy series was so great for your childhood-teenhood square was a true digital story teller & got you everytime to want to save the world & not regret a second!!..man what makes me so sad is we'll nevr get these types of rpgs & soundtracks again.. that was when graphics alone couldn't sell a game. the music was always superb & japanese rpgs ruled charts *tear*

I hated it when this song was playing when your fighting off those Shinra dudes on that very last part. The only reason is, because the mood was set sooooooo damn good and made me god damn sad as. (i havn't played the game in a while) Then you get those little power things and you get a tiny little cutscene of those characters from the past and stuff, damn it's too good. The song reaches me all the time. Zack FTW

an epic song for an epic last battle for zack fair..... even though he died in crisis core he's legend shall live forever for the one's who played the game and would always think zack became a hero in many way's............ end if it weren't for zack..... cloud could never reach where he is now...... zack is the origin of cloud and the whole story of final fantasy VII installments

Yea it is sad but shows a lot of meaning if you ask me. I dont know what it is about Final Fantasy VII but it really does get to me.

This song while fighting the last fight I listened to this song and said to myself "This is Zack Fair. This is who he is." I played like Zack was going with fight.

It expresses, I think, the honor that Zack and Angeal both had for each other and for SOLDIER. Also, Zack said that he wanted to be a hero and this certainly sounds like a hero's song.

This song is utterly perfect...

You know Zack was going to die against the impossible odds...

And as he fought, you would listen to this and think back upon the series and think...

"This is a Masterpiece"

And it has this awesome melancholy feeling about it, with the broken reels and the inability to die...

I have only seen these beautiful moments in two FF games... FF VII and X...

(which he was in this game)

this song reminds me when Angeal punched Zack in the stomach (slow motion) and he fell and landed in the church and met Areith LOL

After i finished this game i never touched my psp again cuz there is no other good game like crisis core

Square enix doesn't need the same team to do a remake...they've done remakes os final fantasy...from final fantasy 1 to final fantasy VI...next is final fantasy VII ;)

And square said that final fantasy VII compilation will end in 2017...well, I supose it will end with a remake :D

Just for the heck of it I actually played through each game in order. Crisis Core, Final fantasy 7, watched advent Children, then played Dirge of cerberus. Just to get the true sense of the game. Personally I think they are gonna try to continue the story of this game, they do and kind of remake.

I love this song, if they don't make a remake of 7, it would be the biggest mistake of our generation. . . no... history.

the riginal was a multimillion dollar game, a remake would go through the roof, i discovered this game from kingdom hearts, when i saw cloud for the first time i thought "what's his story?"

3 years later i searched far and wide for a copy of the original, when i found i was immature, i played it and hated it because of the graphics, now i went back and beat it in 3 days

ive played lots of games but only 2 have marked my life, world of warcraft, and the number 1.. final fantasy 7... what a remarkable game... the characters, the history... it keeps me chained to this game even today, so many years after competing it.... it clearly deserves a remake for the ps3

and if you really like Square then there will also be kingdom hearts : Birth by sleep (ugh i can't wait for those) and i know how you feel, until now i haven't find anything great for psp, others then this game and Silent hill origins, nothing really amused me.

In crisis core Cloud is a SOLDIER 3rd class (the lowest). Zack becomes a first class (highest ranking) Later Cloud abandons SOLDER and moves to AVALANCHE this occurs in FF7

He was never soldier just an infantry man. He had his memories and zacks muddled in one.

Also Zack is stronger than cloud in the beginning of FF7, but after wards cloud becomes strongerand surpassing him

Perfect song for zack when you think about it. It has a underlying sad yet fierce feeling, thinking of this song and knowing zack is fighting even though he wont win.....its just so epic man :)
