Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure if I'm right, but it's my understanding that he was originally part of FM Static, they took a break for a while, formed TFK with a few other people, and FM Static sort of came together again, which Trevor uses as a side projject to TFK. I think it's awesome.

nah he formed TFK with high school friends when he was 17. The guys in the band have changed all except for Trevor (singer) and Joel (bass). He formed FM Static as a side project and Steve (drummer) plays drums in both bands.

he has 2 bands because TFK is a Rock band, and FM Static is more like pop punk or something, it'll be a little weird if he used TFK for all songs, because the divergence of styles would be too much or something..

Trevor (singer) started the band Thousand Foot Krutch when he was in high school. He has a cousin that is now in Three Days Grace and the cousin was originally in Thousand Foot Krutch. Then one day I guess he decided to form FM Static. But no, TFK came first. just letting you know! :)
