When i was a small kid I got bullied by a bunch of kids, i went back with a steal pipe and beat the crap of them, after i beat the crap of them i knew i had done something wrong, but I didnt understand how serious it was. after reading the posts here its obvious what some would have called me if one of the kids I had beaten up would have died. Im not a psyhopat today, i never do something illegal, i dont even download movies for free.

i retliated against bullies with sticks all the time and ike you said i did not know the severity of my acts, but then again i as a child still had to protect myself and a stick was my weapon of choiceand man did i ever beat the snot out of some kids.

too bad their parents didnt involve themselves in their childrens educations and allowed them to run around the streets harrassing people with no punishment for it.

As a criminal justice administration major, I know for a fact that "coercement", which is exactly what took place, is wrong in every sense of the word. This boy should not be convicted, NOT because of age, because coercement is wrong. I can't believe they are offering a plea deal...his lawyer had better step up to the plate!

I wont say what he did was right, but for fuck sakes he's 8. Something is AND was definitely wrong here. Do we condemn him as an A-typical murderer or find out what set this child off? The ones who are quick to condemn aren't obviously worthy of God's pity nor forgiveness because it seems their perfect than Jesus. Remember when you were that age? Did you commit any crimes? If not, why not? Answer: you were in mortal fear of the cops, that's why! Unless you were a bully, which is exactly what criminals, be they 8-80 are, and therefore deserve not one ounce of consideration from the very society that they intended to victimize. Also, take in consideration of these "kids' rights" movements that we hear about now. O.K., fine, but with rights come the responsibilities of your actions!
