This may not be the time to say this, but i love the colour scheme on that jet, all the time you just want him to pull up and make it by the skin of his teeth, fraid not though :(
this is horrible... i remember at that time i was there ( i mean not on that place but in Ukr. many people were killed and kids.. but the pilot survived and went to jail...
what a bad ass camera shot! I hope no one on the ground died because of the crash. It looked like the plane was going to skip once off the ground and then take flight again.......nope guess not
@chillaxer1993 If he had done that those people at 0:05 would be dead. The pilot saved a lot of lives trying to maneuver the aircraft away from the crowd, even when it hit the ground the first time.
While the pilots were assigned the majority of the blame, which included accusations of attempting maneuvers that they were not experienced with, Toponar had requested an additional training flight at the airfield where the display was to be performed; this request was denied.
After the verdict was announced, Toponar said he planned to appeal, insisting the crash was due to technical problems and a faulty flight plan.
On June 24, 2005, a military court sentenced pilot Volodymyr Toponar and co-pilot Yuriy Yegorov to fourteen and eight years in prison, respectively. The court found the two pilots and three other military officials guilty of failing to follow orders, negligence and violating flight rules. Two of the three officials were sentenced to up to six years in prison, and the last official received up to four years.
and thats why you never get anything with a russian tage on it.
