  • The talent in that room is incredible!

  • Haven't seen this show on PBS. Was it ever broacast? Is it available on DVD?

  • @kb6kgx

I believe it was broadcast once, but I did not see it. It was unavailable for a long time, but the 9 DVD set can now be purchased at a site called CFRVideos. Look for "Rock and Roll Graffiti" there. It was filmed over a couple days and includes many hours of talking by the artists about their careers -- which I really enjoyed.

  • Joe.

This special was made for PBS, right?

Whoever's idea it was, to set it up, was really smart. What a GREAT idea!

    5*****

  • Yes, I believe it was PBS. It was amazing to watch the connection that all these performers made after spending a couple of days together. You are right, GREAT idea!

  • Does anyone know the name of the backup singers?

  • @MSA942

The one in the center is Vicki Carrico. You can see her singing lead on the video I posted of her doing "Think."

  • @MSA942 To the right of Vickie with the dark hair is Etta Britt! :) They both sing in Kentucky Thunder with Jonnell Mosser and Sheila Lawrence. Amazing women!!! They just released a CD too!
