Dear everybody, the shear amount of power the ps3 consumes to drive its internals means no where in the near future will we have a portable ps3 like graphics. My laptop is one of the fastest in the world and could match or even out perform the ps3 and its battery life is nonexistant, in fact, I can't use sli with out being plugged in with two 300 watt power bricks. Specs? 12 gig 1600mhz ram, i7 990x, 2x 580m gtx in sli, and four hard drives. It's a clevo x7200. There's no game it can't do so far

@deadkitn Of course the vita is not as powerful as the PS3 but it doesn't matter since the PS3 has 256mb of VRAM and PS Vita Has 128mb of VRAM since the PS3 has 4x the resolution of the Vita but the Vita will still be comparable to the PS3 since it has a lower resolution so it will have almost the same framerate as the PS3

All I ever said was that overall, the PSVita is not quite,but very close the PS3 quality visuals. Like I said. Uncharted:Golden Abyss on Psvita looks better than Uncharted:Drake's Fortune, though not as good as Uncharted 2. And a lot of multiplats and franchises look almost identical such as lbp, modnation racers, UMvsC3, SFxTekken,etc....

The graphics aren't any different than from the other PSP's. They just shrunk the screen to make the resolution higher. If the graphics were better, then they would have to make all new games for it, and it would be a completely different system. Like the PS Vita.

With a PSP 1000-3000 and custom firmware, you get to have all your games on a memory stick as well, and that means, roms, emulators, PS1 games, Messengers, Indie games and yes PSP games as well..oh yea and movies. @zac856314 More Ram yes, but you can overclock the processors on all the others in a custom firmware menu. It always had that ability, but sneaky sony decided to unlock it for the GO. The RAM does help with load times.
