i just finished a cup myself. piggly wiggly brand lol. and got taht taste. i wander how our tea would taste if we had different water or some kind of filter?
Letting you keep the ten was just good customer relations. So much for the people who laugh at me for drinking bottled water. Sure it costs more, but it's better tasting.
It almost got that bad before I realised it was too much ground coffee. Not so much incontinent as the sense you have to go RIGHT NOW!!!!! and not really having any choice. Instant doesn't do that. Not all beans do that, either, I suppose....but you never know what's in the bag.
Thanks. I didn't used to like Instant much either. But I found real coffee to often givs me a headache and renders me effectively incontinent after 2-3 cups. Instant doesn't do that. At 50ish, that matters to me. LOL!
Good for you man. I know someone here in The Netherlands who changed from your favorite brand to another because it tasted different too. Her water was the same...Life is ful of mysteries!
So I have been discovering. City water an't be that bad as I've drunk it for most of 50 years with no noticeable adverse affects. But the filtered water definitely tastes better and it may also reduce the chances of some sort of gastro-intestinal cancer later in life....so I se no problems being prudent about it and using a filter.
The population behind it certainly is. If there were 500 million people on Earth instead of closing on 7 billion, even our wasteful existing civilisation would be "sustainable". Our wastefulness makes it worse, but the real problem is population.

With the carbon filter, I can make my own "bottled water". Or close to it.

Yeah.....and I think they have it in other parts of Europe, too. Maybe it's ONLY North America that doesn't have it.

If you were in USA, you could to become a very famous man with your brouhaha.
Americans love silly stories.
You could be a spokeperson for Nestle in Australia/New Zealand.
TIP: sprinkle a little (but little) salt on your coffee , and then hot water. Salt gives you the strong/real taste of coffee.

Distilled water is best for drinking and cooking.
Drinking city tap water is generally not healthy.

Chlorine is Bleach, dude. I'm a hillbilly. I like my water straight out of the ground.
Would you agree or disagree with the statement:
"civilization (especially industrial civilization) is inherently unsustainable"

Amen. It is a problem that SERIOUSLY needs addressed. I think that if the 'money masters' have a solution...we WON'T like it.

It's called war and they are already well underway. ;-)
