Julia is the reason why many people put this as So Bad it's good. That was how good that man was, it managed to give this crap movie some credibility.
All the actors seem to be well aware of how ridiculous the movie was... but for Mr. de Souza and Ed Pressman appear to be under the impression they were making the next Die Hard...
How well that turned out doesn't need to be explained...
This movie is a lot better than that recent Street Fighter movie. The other one was really out of character. Bison didn't even wear his trademark uniform in that movie.
I like this film. Yes, it's cheesy and dumb as hell. But it's fun. Yeah, Ryu should've been the main character. They didn't even do Shuriken or Sonic Boom. The Animated movie kicks even more ass!
If this movie had the same storyline but gave primary focus on Ryu and made HIM the hero of the film (and the one to fight and defeat Bison in the end), it would have been a huge hit.
The film would have been better had it been cited as a PREQUEL to the series, along with a few minor changes.
