The song title is The RH Factor not "in a dream." What I meant was I composd it in my sleep. This version is played a bit faster than it should be played. It lays much better at a more moderate tempo.
I composed this song (in a dream) for his Roger's quintet in 1983 and wrote the big band arrangement in 2000 when I joined his big band. I also authored a lyric for it although no one has ever performed it. That's me (Dr. Nelson Harrison) playing the trombone solo. This particular version is a bit brighter than normal. It lays better at a more moderate tempo. Check out my other vids on the Metaphysics of Music on YouTube.

Sometimes it seems that life is but a "dream".
but memories do improve and seem,
do float to the top like coffee with a little cream,
and the roof is apparently held up by that beam,
unless winds rev up to change the scheme;
and the thunder like the drums wake us from the dream....
as we thank you both of reminding us what is supreme!!!
sincerely, DrB

Wow, I didn't know that he had a song called RH factor. I thought that was just the name of his band.
