a friend of mine who is a classical musician in NYC and a priest fan said he read an interview with Pavarotti, who said he is a fan of Rob Halford and said he is one of the greatest voices ever.

@terrordrone7 Doesn't surprise me - Pavarotti struck me as the sort of person who cared more about talent than about the brand name it was shipped under, and Rob Halford has undeniable talent. There are also long-standing links between Classical/Operatic music and rock/metal.
