  • Wait a minute, where's the silver night on a turntable?!

  • I like it!

  • yall are out of tune very bad !

  • Two horns on this are lovely!

  • Very good!!!I loved it.

  • two horns instead of a horn and trombone... interesting...

  • Well, we didn't have a trombonist handy. Well, my wife, but she has her own hobby. And the woman playing horn has an incredible lower range. So, it worked out pretty well especially on other pieces.

  • well thats pretty cool... its makes an interesting tonal blend for the particular piece...

ive heard this in traditional quintet... and quintet with a two trombones... but i think i like your instrumentations sound the best...

im also very impressed with the second horns low range... very quite clean...

  • Yeah. Nothing against trombonists. But, their sound can have a bit of a bite to it. The horn has a "rounder" sound to it. So, it worked out well.

We're currently working on resurrecting the group, though with a more traditional instrumentation. Though, more likely a euphonium rather than a trombone.

Nothing against trombonists. But, it all depends on the friends we make.

  • i actually like that idea... in my quintet my trombonist doubles on euphonium and switches appropriately to suit the tone of the song...

its just that conical vs. cylindrical thing that makes the trombone stick out...

  • only the music sounds good no offense..=p

  • Well, it was fun to play.

  • I find brass ensembles playing this piece tends to be more beautiful than other types of ensembles. Sound really nice and the place they chose to play this piece brings the tones out even more.

  • Well, I think it all depends on the person. Granted, as the tubist in this piece I'm kind of biased.

  • so good

  • Thank-you.

  • beautiful, and normally, I don't say that about brass instruments.

  • Well, that makes two of us.

  • Rich, full, and very satisfying! It conveys baroque Majesty and a sense of grandeur. Bravo!

  • Yes, although I'd rather hear a full period orchestra playing this piece at vivaciously breakneck speed, I think this slower version works, probably because of the brass instruments for which it was arranged. It does indeed convey such sentiments, and quite well too.

  • Well, the arranger is actually in the ensemble. He's playing the trumpet second from the left.

  • Well, thank-you.

  • Good, but need more rehearsals.

  • Well, who couldn't use more rehearsal time? We were wanting to get at least something on tape in order to show to potential clients.

  • Excelente!Podia ser tema de matrimônios!!!!

  • Well, that was the original intent. We wanted to have a book of songs to play at weddings and other special events.

  • thats amazing

  • Thanks.

  • I say that again

  • And I thank you again.

  • Brilliant

  • Well, thank you.
