Trunks from the future also had the luck of fighting weaker versions of the normal opponents. His version of Cell was barely SSJ level as were his androids.

Gt sucks, cuz Goku has lost inteligence, and refuses to throw a single punch! Or rather, he gained a bigger vocabulary but no longer can fight. Goku has relied on a few techniques but he always knew the basics of fighting. Vegeta vs Recoome was far more entertaining! Hell the 1st fight against raditz was too!

So it makes sense that the original 17 fused with a much more powerful future 17 would make him stronger than Cell. Also this episode takes place later on in the future after Cell is long defeated and forgotten. So they make Super 17 stronger than Cell was, just for fun, so that Goku has no choice but to show off and become a SS4... LOL...

Gt sucks, cuz Goku has lost inteligence, and refuses to throw a single punch! Or rather, he gained a bigger vocabulary but no longer can fight. Goku has relied on a few techniques but he always knew the basics of fighting. Vegeta vs Recoome was far more entertaining! Hell the 1st fight against raditz was too!

Hey ok here is to clear up that kid thing, He was wished back to kid form by the dragonballs. Some guy said I wish you were a kid and is was infront of the dragonballs and they changed him. Also they get stronger but the blasts are more concecrated not weaker. Hope that helps

It's odd how 1 Android 17 can be beaten by SSJ2 easily, yet the fact that combining 2 of Android 17s can be on par with a SSJ4 before absorbing any of Gokus energy....Akira, you fucked GT up so bad lol. As far as Im concerned, none of GT is canon. It should just end at the end of DBZ.

I love how SSJ 1 can destroy planets but SSJ4 puts small craters in the ground lol. GT has so many continuity errors. Everyone seems to get weaker as they supposedly get stronger.

@jakerocker456 It took 17 and 18 to create Cells perfect form. Before his perfect form he wasnt even strong enough to defeat Vegeta in Super Saiyan 2 form. So it makes sense that the original 17 fused with a much more powerful future 17 would make him stronger than Cell. Also this episode takes place later on in the future after Cell is long defeated and forgotten. So they make Super 17 stronger than Cell was, just for fun, so that Goku has no choice but to show off and become a SS4... LOL...
