So before you wet yourself over the iphone, look and see what else is out there. You will quickly understand where im coming from, Apple and iphone cant compete with the mobile giants like Nokia, Moto, SE, and RIM.

God people! The iphone could possibly be one of the most over hyped gadgets ever. It has a big screen and nice UI, thats about it. Its camera is poor, no memory expansion, it does not accept 3rd party apps, lacks stereo speakers, no gps (Google maps doesnt count), and the thing cant even send a MMS!

people realize that, but they still buy it... why? it's not revolutionary in terms of its features (you can get an N95 for that), it's revolutionary for it's user interface, and in my opinion (as well as many others', that's what really counts when you're using a device on a daily basis)

ask anyone who has one, and you'll see that using a full-blown internet browser, although just one feature, is such a huge plus

yeah; -never- buy the first model of something (unless maybe it's technically a new-named version, upgraded, and you already know all the cons of the first). there's zero chance of having zero bugs, so everybody's best bet is to betatest the product until it fits current standards -and- is debugged.

Otherwise next year you'll all be feeling pretty dumb when it costs a lot more just to get what amounts to tech support and a new phone. :P
