  • What is the noise that starts at 0:15 and continues to the end of the clip?

  • @aaftabj It's just us using a air-compressed cleaning device to scrub the algae on the floor while we are there.

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ur lucky and there no fking killing whales! god there mij faovor animals

  • You are so LUCKY MAN!!!.... its been one of my dreams since I was a little kid... they are soooo cute!!!!..... Can you please tell me how can I dive with orcas?

  • @PavanDadlani Well, you either have to be a trainer, or find a spot in the wild where you can SAFELY do it (which is quite rare though). In my opinion, the safest way is to become a trainer. Good luck !

  • I don't know if you've heard, but I now Shouka personaly I met her at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. She is still very small though and has the softest snout ever!

  • @ItsAndysToys Of course I know where Shouka is now. I have to keep track of where "my" orca are, and I go to visit her sometimes too when I can. :)

  • @frenchorcatrainer I think she has the cutest nose!!

  • That is so cool! I would be afraid, though... :s

  • You're lucky! I hope I get the chance at one point in my life to Scuba Dive with these beautiful creatures! I also would absolutely love to Scuba dive with Whale sharks! They're both beautiful creatures :)

  • Don't orcas kill/eat humans?

  • @beautifulstar33 No they usually don't, unless human give them a good reason to do it. :)

  • @frenchorcatrainer what's a good reason to eat humans? Also, do they let you cage dive with orcas?

  • @beautifulstar33 if you attack/hurt them or when they have calves/babies with them and when they think that they are in danger for example. And no, you don't need to use a cage to dive with them. That's for sharks only.

  • @frenchorcatrainer Really? Then why do we hear of orcas killing their trainers in Seaworld? Well, I want to try cage diving with orcas. Will they allow it?

  • @frenchorcatrainer Will ANY PLACE let you cage dive with themm, if you don't want to free dive with orcas?

  • @beautifulstar33 NOT AT ALL. Cage diving with orca is 1) not permitted 2) could be dangerous 3) not necessary for the trainers anyway.

  • @frenchorcatrainer Well, I'm NOT a trainer, I'm just a regular person. if I want to dive with orcas, will they then have the trainer with me? How can a cage be dangerous than free diving?

  • @beautifulstar33 why does everybody think everythin in the sea what is bigger than you kills you -.- Orcas only kill if you attack/hurt them or when they have calves/babies with them and when they think that they are in danger. Btw i hate the name killer whale because it´s just wrong

  • @TheLostplanet2 I agree with you :)

  • @frenchorcatrainer Cuz I looked for such places and they all told me no

  • @TheLostplanet2 Because there have been cases where orcas have killed their trainers at seaworld and a few in the wild. Moreover, they are large and need to be respected. Don't sharks also attack ppl? They're big.

  • @beautifulstar33 Although I haven'T seen any kind of whale in my life by now I could imagine that orcas at Seaworld would kill their trainers because maybe there is not much space for them to live and they'd need freedom that they don't have. If i feel that there are too many people around me in a very small room, I'd go crazy as well I think.

  • @FilmComposeRaHoppe I agree captivity van be hard. but if some places let them free dive with orcas, don'[t they fear a little bit that these animals can overpower and hurt humans? They're even more powerful than great whties!

  • @beautifulstar33 I don'T know as I haven't met any kind of whale or shark yet. There are also people who would swim with white sharks as well but haven't been hurt at all. In a documentary film they said that Orcas are very intelligent and that each bigger orca-family would prey on only one kind of prey (some prey on small fish, seal and penguins, some prey on bigger whales or even sharks), because they learn a special method of preying and then they share their knowledge with their children.

  • @TheLostplanet2 lol I do too.But thats what they do hunt and kill other whales and dolphins...

  • KISSYS

  • How cute (: i love orcas.

  • lol the on at the beginning was like HI PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET HI!!!

  • omg lol that orca could of easily bit his head of at the end of that video

  • Is your company hiring?

  • @LordofBarons You will have to contact them to found out.

  • hoe much was it to do that ???

  • @MissMoxie5 I was actually paid to do that, as it was my job. :)

  • @frenchorcatrainer What is your job? Orcas are my favorite animal, I have always wanted to dive with whales, dolphins, orcas ETC.

  • @frenchorcatrainer wtf i also wanna get paid for doing such cool thing :D i love all animals in the sea ^^

  • JE VEUX FAIRE CE METIERRRR PLEASEEEEEEEE QUELQUN POURRAI ME DIRE COMMENT LES ANNES PASSE ET JE VEUX PAS MOURIRE SANS AVOIR VU d4ORQUES JE SUIS DE PARIS FRENCHORCATRAINERRRRR REPON MOI PLEASE

  • @rimk92i Il faut aller faire un stage au Marineland d'Antibes.

  • this is so cute! My dream is to go to school for marine biology so I can do this one day! I love killer whales!!

  • “you won’t let me eat your shoes? fine. then i will try to eat your cap. no?!?!?! pfft you’re just no fun.’ this is adorable. does it affect the way they act if you're more calm? like, i would imagine if you were panicking while they do this, they might have reacted differently to you. i might have been panicking about a huge animal trying to nip my head. even though logically i know they're being gentle.

  • @charlieglasgow haha... Yes indeed. And you right. It's understandable to panic in such situation, but any professional orca trainer will tell you to never do it though. They are very intelligent animals and if they find out you are afraid of them they may use that against you at some point. Although, I never realized I was doing anything dangerous myself, as long as I was working with them. It's only once I stopped that I did though. :D

  • @frenchorcatrainer i always wanted to be a trainer growing up! i could imagine i'd be nervous the first couple times, but wouldn't they as well? i'm guessing in this video that there's a lot of trust between orca/trainer if they're willing to chill with him like that.

  • It's Dennis the Menace of the oceans!

  • why dont they attack people ?

  • @tolislove mostly because they are intelligent enough to know they should respect a living being. Especially when that living being is not food, or don't harm them too.

  • @frenchorcatrainer well they were curious of who and what that was ahha but also, a random fact i found out that made me quite sad as to how i love these beautiful animals, well orcas/killer whales; will sworm a lonely humpback whale and take their tongue out, aparently with their teeth? im not sure and they will leave them without a tongue so that they will starve to death, they dont even eat them...weird huh? X( but they are beautiful and amazing <3

  • @mickeymouseluvaz They call them killer whales because of the fact they have amazing hunting skills!

Nature does crazy things for crazy reasons. Unless it is unnatural (like an invasive species), there is probably a reason, even if it is extremely difficult to understand.

  • @frenchorcatrainer you are so lucky ! :) i wanna do that one day !

  • That could be REALLY annoying if you're actually trying to get something done. I'd wear my crappy fins for that. No way do I want teeth marks on my nice ones. >_>

  • @Tucuxi3 Yup, indeed. Diving with Orca (and especially young ones) could cost a fortune on diving equipment ! :D

  • If dat is a tank then its well done! cuz it looks like the wild!!

  • Cool. I wish I could do that. :)

  • I didn't know the bottom of the tank in marineland France was caovered with rocks. And that must have been an awesome experience! :D

  • @fredjelucas

i dont think its rocks, i think its algea, marks and scratches and stuff.

although this is there old tank, not their new tank.

  • Comment removed

  • @nikalik You ca see her mother right next to her in this video. And this was filmed in Antibes, France. And thank you.

  • lol the orca was biting you alot

  • @backhand630 They indeed like to play with their mouth. Especially when they are young.

  • LUCKY!

  • 0:39 --- Bump!

  • So cool! I wish i could do this stuff! Must be so fun! Are you allowed to swim or are you an orca trainer a lot of names on youtube say they are and they are not actually trainers soo . . i always wanted to be an orca trainer. So cute great video!

  • @ALoveForOrcas thank you for you kinds words. And yes, I am actually a real orca trainer, as you can see on my videos here. ;)

  • This was at the old marineland tank wasnt it ?

  • @Lucatheking16 Yes, indeed !

  • @frenchorcatrainer Dont you think its kinda sad that she is in a small tank with just 1 dolphin ?

  • @Lucatheking16 I've just been able to visit her often where she is now at Six Flag, and her pool is HUGE indeed. She have one dolphin right now, but I'm sure their are working on a way to bring another Orca with her soon too. Also, and I will NEVER say that enough, the size of the pool is not what's the most important in a happiness of a marine mammals. O__o

  • @frenchorcatrainer Yes but the size does = to some of that happiness lol and thats good to hear

  • shit i love this animal orcas are my fevoret animals i wish i was in ur place do u have to pay do dive the the orcas???

  • @skatedudeish nope, it's just my job.

  • Can a visitor to MarineLand Swim with the orcas? can Visitors also touch the Orcas?

  • @OrcaLove13 Nope, not at all ! That will be too dangerous to do, especially for the public.

  • @frenchorcatrainer Can the orca harm a visitor somehow? Amazing video, by the way.

  • @dreadfin Thanks !

And no, if the visitor cannot touch or approach them, except for soaking them to death may be, there's no other way a Orca can hurt a visitor.

  • @frenchorcatrainer I understand :) I meant, if another visitor (not a trainer) touch an orca, could this orca harm that visitor? It's maybe, in the context, that an orca feels the visitor is a "bad guy"... Or visitors are not permitted to touch orcas because it can lead to violation of relationship between an orca and his/her trainer? Orcas seem to be very sociable creatures and if anyone could touch them (they seem to be pleased with attention), they will not respect their trainers so high?

  • @dreadfin Touching a orca for the public is not allowed, not to only keep those for us trainers, but mostly for security reason. People always think those animals are harmless, which is NOT always the case unfortunately. A Orca or even a dolphin, can easily bite someone even just for playing, or grab someone and try to pull this person in the pool to play with him/her.

If the danger was not a problem, trust me, we will be glad to let the public getting closer to such wonderful animals.

  • @frenchorcatrainer Thank you for very interesting info. You're lucky to work with orcas! I understand, orcas don't want to harm people but they just can underestimate their power (5000kg orca playing with 80kg man) and thus accidentally wound human. Is it so? Orcas are considered on the 2nd place by their intelect after human. Is it so, to your oppinion?

  • @dreadfin They are pretty smart of course, and nice and all, but also really vicious at time, and could be really dangerous because of that, their size and weight, as well as they power too.

I will say they have their own amazing intelligence, but it will be wrong in my opinion to compare it to human on that level though.

  • @frenchorcatrainer In my country, most people love dolphins. We were taught in Soviet school that dolphins are human friends. But we don't have orcas in the Black Sea. Hope I will visit Marineland France in near future to see orcas personally. I watched videos about different parks, and Marineland Antibes seem to me the best of them. Luckily, it's not too far from Ukraine. I'd like to add you in my friend-list, if you don't mind.

  • @dreadfin No problemo. Hope you will be able to visit France and the park one day too then.

  • Thats just fantastic!-x what a great experience that must have been!

  • Thanks you :)

  • amazing!!

  • That nice ... I am charmed with the killer whales

  • Wow! A wild orca coming at you!! I know they're nice (if you don't harass them) but it must be really scary at first when you turn around and you see a huge black nose next to you! lol

  • That isn't a wild Orca. It's an Orca from Marineland in Antibes, France. It's an amazing place and SO worth the visit! =D

  • REAALLLLLYYYYYY????????????? Sweet!!!

  • yeahh usually when a orca kills somebody its completely by accident they think ur playing with them and they dont know u cant breath under water ... my cuzin dived with them jus dont get to excited haha

  • This is amazing!!!!! This has inspired me even more to become a trainer! Thanks for the insperation!

  • Just be careful and have a backup plan, in case you don't succeed being a trainer. It's not easy to reach this goal, and not at all a easy job to do, compared to what it looks like...

  • Aww that's so cute! I want to be an orca trainer at Seaworld

    Et merci ! ;)

  • Whats that high pitched noise?

  • The sound of the filtration running may be ?...

  • Wow,strong filter =D

  • u r soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky.that part of my dream.

  • Thanks !

And good luck with your future Orca trainer career too.

It's NOT going to be easy, trust me.

  • Waw, you're sooo lucky! And you have the best job in the universe!

  • Unfortunately, I don't work with them any more, at least for now. But thanks anyway.

  • Amazing, I've never seen footage of Shouka as a calf...thankyou for sharing

  • More to come ! ;)

  • Aww. How cute! XDD Amazing footage! XD Thanks for sharing! XD

  • awesome clip! seeing sharkan here reminds me of seeing shouka through the windows at six flags

  • Actually, you can see Sharkan just a bit in the video, but Shouka is that baby Orca I play with. The same Shouka who is now at Six Flag. ;)

  • Wow this is incredible!

  • What a beautiful video, thank you for sharing it. :)

  • Best job in the world! :D
