  • Where are grass snakes located?

  • @pbrskater26 I'm told they are fairly common in the UK but rearly seen. All but one of the grass snakes that I've seen were in or near water - amphibians are on the menu.

  • @arthur1411

Really, I did not think there was any snakes in england....well that defently cought my intorest! now going to look these snakes up!

  • That is an impressive grass snake - whereabouts was this filmed?

  • @martang66

The South Mimms end of Potters Bar Herts.

  • NBSnakes u sick bastard

  • ...brain the kitten waits till they snakes are cold

~I try to tell him in the ways of a cat not to kill without reason, try to think what happens when the reptile fakes being frozen having just been sun to warm & strikingly mobile

=but then I didn't think he would make it past the run under my feet, from behind, every time my arms were load and walking, and he has. Now will it be a car when he walks with the dogs ?

  • The head is a triangle just lime a rattle snake

  • @ gorth1000 it is NOT a puff adder as they do not live in this country it is a common misconception that the more common 'european viper' or 'adder' is the puff adder and besides it has no zig zag saddle markings on it and it is completely the wrong colour. It is a fairly large female grass snake u moron

  • what you do when you see snakes in your garden? you know how to get read of it?

  • thats one big grass snake good find mate

  • Why didn't you pick up your cat and take it inside?

  • @NBSnakes

If I thought that either animal was in any danger then that is exactly what I would have done.

  • @arthur1411 So you we're willing to wait for the danger to escalate? What about the danger of the snake expending energy scaring your cat off, energy is very valuable to wild animals and it can make the difference between life and death.

  • @NBSnakes

You're quite right about about nature being red in tooth and claw - maybe I should have killed the snake to prevent it from eating the newts & frogs that live in my pond?

Perhaps amphibians are too cold blooded for you.

  • @arthur1411 No, you should have just taken your cat inside and observed the amazingness of it from a distance. Snakes fulfill a niche in our eco-system they're very important, the eco-system will control the populations of grass snakes, frogs etc. No need for human intervention in this case.

  • @arthur1411

Grass snakes are non venomus right!

  • @pbrskater26

    Correct.

  • @arthur1411 well then your a faggot

  • @NBSnakes cuz he is an asshole.

  • the snake is a puff adder watch how it inflates itself so it looks bigger and more fierce so the cat will leave it alone

  • the "grass" snake is just a little to stoned to react at the kittys movements

  • That cat looks like a fucking dog awesome tho:)

  • ok if i saw that snake (or any snake) in my backyard most likely i would leave it alone... not get my cat and my camera and take a video

  • @KKthecupcake

What actually happened was that my girlfriend and I walked into the situation and should have either of the animals been in danger then I would have intervened. I certainly would not have tried to encourage any kind of fight.

  • It is a Grass snake ( natrix natrix )

  • Lol, at the cat scaring itself with the stick

  • is a natrix natrix female

  • Fucking culebra

  • the snake succeed to intimidated the cat

  • 0:20 Ahhh, a moving branch!

  • @Stunt101Rider oh I do I'm not a pussy :)

  • 0:47 - Cat: "BRB, gonna go power level and upgrade my armor before I take on this boss."

  • Snake: come at me brahh.

Cat: Uhm what do I do...

    Snake: *sigh* WTF.

Cat: are you gonna hurt me Mr. Snake? •~•

    Snake: oh, not at all!

Cat: Ahh screw it I'm going to bed. Night.

  • That cat was like "Okay can we go inside now so that you can feed me some damn tuna now, it's past my nap time".

  • cat could have killed that snake so easy stupid cat

  • I love pissing ppl off :)

  • @ScreamingAtCheese try doing it in person...

  • Do snakes poop?

  • @ScreamingAtCheese yes every thing shits u dum ass

  • @ScreamingAtCheese what a stupid question!!

  • Interesting video. At the end, you can see it's actually sidewinding backwards over the smooth path. Very attractive female Grass Snake (hardly giant though, more normal adult size). There's quite a food bulge about halfway down as well (clearly visible at 1:28) - perhaps some unfortunate frog or toad.

  • lol that cat was like shit if u want him gone u do it see ya.......

  • Final boss from mobile snake game. lol

  • That IS a big grass snake,4.5 to 5 feet?

  • lol that's the most human-looking cat I've ever seen !

  • @Gary190tube thats they way we breed them in this neck of the woods :)

  • Cotton mouth

  • @sexpot52

I'm afraid the upload was filmed in my backyard to the north of London (England). Our climate and the lack of swamps means that it can only be one of our three indigenous snakes; adder, smooth or grass. I can assure that it is the latter and a very big one at that.

  • @arthur1411 O . O that was in North London?

What part i´ve searched all over hampstead heath and never found one!

    Plus it´s huge....

  • @IdiotsRUsLtd

Hiya it's to the north of London, Potters Bar.

  • @sexpot52 cotton mouth????LOL.its a species of colubrids like a gopher snake, banded water snake, pine snake, bull snake but not a damn water mocison....you should learn some stuff about them so u dont end up killing a completly harmless snake one day!

  • i think that snake is cooler

  • that snake is having a spaz attack lol

  • Good grief
