i think your choice to play a 2h warrior isn`t quite good for a first playthrough, simply because the good 2handers are quite hard to get compared to other weapons (they require u do some weird puzzles)

The only one which are easy to get require that u have the warden`s keep and return to ostagar DLC`s (namely the Starfang from warden`s keep which u get mostly through a random encounter on the map, and the Nug Crusher from RtO)

about unique characters, mine was a city elf warrior templar with dual hand weapons XD

@arelius536 i did simular build to dual wielding templar elf , only thing different i did was build him to be straight up Mana draining Monster , since you hit more often with 2 weapons besides one.. itll drain mana faster than 2h.. or say 1h + shield along with smite.. a killer combo

@NerdRageFtW Leave magekilling to Alistar. Knight-Commander's Armor + Spellward + couple Dweometer runes on his weapon = 100 % Spell Resistance :)

@1devo1- Not all rogues suck as much as Daveth. I have a level 18 rogue and he's actually pretty good... Don't judge them, just because they don't use the same weapons as brutal warriors.

Bit of advice: go after the yellows first, or you'll end up with close calls again and again. As for your charging in..when has that 'ever' worked for you so far? When you outnumber 'them', which is about as rare as Blizzard releasing a game.

since u said u would be playing this game many times i just thought id say that in tactics u can do self, helth less than 25%, use health poultice, least powerful to keep ur guys alive. and u can do that 2 make mages heal people 2

@shinikage0292 he can be a good tank actually but I've found it's Sten and Oghren who die more often than Alistair, most likely because their weapons are heavy and slow.

Well too bad he didnt do the wolf part since the 2 hander from that one is a large upgrade. Generally in this game its worth exploring everything since u get a lot of good gear from sidequests and stuff just lying about.

And btw remember to use ur rogues stun abilities to get behind the enemy to backstab etc....

Sadly you can't get a healer for quite a while unless you start as one. Also, the path that you skipped with the wolves had Rigby's cache I believe, and there is a hill that has the rocks for the ashes you sprinkle. You then fight a demon and get close to nothing.
