Nice ride bro. I bought and own a 04 silver lexus is300 5 speed manual since it was brand new. It now has over 170,000 miles on it and it still runs as if I bought it back in 2004.
@LayZieBoNeLBuRna I have one also and bought it used in 07 the car is an 05 and when I took it to the Lexus dealer in a nearby town they also seemed shocked and said they couldn't remember if they ever have seen one themselves'.
@909dynasty Yeah it is, Especially in this color too. I sold this one togged a 2002 lexus GS430 and I miss my IS300 so much that im still in search of this year color and manual and it is nearly impossible to find.
@kajornklin yea i had a silver one automatic .... totaled it =(
now im stuck driving a 01 golf no where near as fast.... and all because of trying to avoid hitting a dog ...... loved these cars since they hit the market
@909dynasty They just feel solid, not the fastest but they are built well. I have driven many cars from honda lexus infiniti nissan, out of all the asian cars this is by far the most reliable and most comfortable to sit in. I remember I had a short shifter and I downshifted from 4th going 90mph to 2 gear by accident! I thought i blew the motor, but once I stop and listened to the car it still purred nicely.
wow man looks like your taking extreme good care of em. I love the blue it look awesome, i have been looking for a is300 myself found one for $5500 with 115,000 miles on her thats nothing for a lexus
This is the rare manual and color intense blue pearl with black interior. Both the sc300 and is300 are great cars, but ithink the is300 is alot faster cuz its lighter in weight. Thanks for the comments!
thanks for the reply homie. i the colors im interested in are white/dark green/black for the is300, sc300 does have potential all you really have to do is rip out all the useless luxuries and replace some of the components with aftermarket support. but id rather own the IS300 in the long run. have you done any work to it?
I have only did simple stuff like drop it on eibach and koni yellows and altezza grill, ralco short shifter, greddy evo2 catback exhaust and k@n cold air intake. Its not on the video cuz i took these mods off except the eibach and koni. I have had people with regular and overfixed is300's come up to me and say they miss the way there is300's look stock. the regular is300 owners want my set drop look.
im lookin to get a IS300 too...tryin to look around for a cheap one in jersey...real nice car, rite now checkin out the insurance rates quotes out..any advice on who to check out? ;)
i only deal with the best allstate. but its pretty expensive. just shop around see what fits your budget. but allstate, and state farm wont do you wrong. ill be moving to the uk actually in a few months..and ill look into a late model evo like a 6,5, or 4 there's a load over there..but my insurance will be through the roof. lol.
Thank You. The civic is a great car too, just as long as the car is not riced out too much., plus you can find some is300's for about 8000-13000. I hope you get one soon cuz these cars are just smooth to drive.
Haha I haven't started even trying to tune my civic yet. I don't even want to really, its a family car, so yeah, just a few engine mods. For me I really want to get this car, cuz I heard that its both fun to tune and drive. Plus its RWD, if you feel like going side ways you can. I hope I can find one, though I am on a tight budget...and the economy doesn't help. Still very nice IS!
wtf with the song? haha i like the timberlake version better. i have a BO 02 is300 5spd. just with exhaust, springs, clutch, flywheel intake and some small stuff.
right now it is dropped on eibach/koni yellows. Actually the only thing i did to modify it was put on the altezza grille and the dash tray. The pictures dont show it cuz i took these awhile ago. No racing with this car or stereo, I want it so stay stock looking.
hehe i found one in maual , silver 135km and its gonna be mine ! :D
