@blah012345678 you have to use landmarks to make it bigger. if you are doing 20x20, you need to put the landmarks on the corner squares of 22x22. then you put a quarry next to one of the landmarks (put the quarry on the outside of the landmark square). connect an engine, and your quarry should start up. if you want it bigger you can make it bigger. if you make it bigger, make sure the square is an even number like 44x44 or 12x12. 13x13 wont work.

@DrCraftBoy you need to need a buildcraft pump if you have IC installed as well, you should make sure you are using the water proof pipes a well.(dont know what version you are using.) ;)

@DrCraftBoy I know that with the latest version, you have to use the waterproof pipes. I had the same problem and that seemed to do the trick. as far as not pumping oil, im not sure whats wrong but I hope the pipe thing helped. :)

@D1amondMiners You have to make landmarks.....Mark the 4 corners of where you want your quarry to surround with the landmarks and then place a quarry next to the first landmark you placed, and it should create a square. Oh and by the way landmarks are made kind of like a torch only you put a redstone torch where the stick would go and a lapus lazuli where the coal would go.

Heya! I created a tank like you did with WorldEdit, put the pump in submerged with two blocks under it of oil to give it room. It ran for a little while fine, pumping like a happy camper, but now the pipes are empty and the tank is mostly still full. What gives? Besides me being stupid about something. >.< I tried pumps at the top but once the top layer is pumped off it runs dry, it doesn't put it's little probe down deeper unless I break and re-place the pump. :(

@llloyd4 : That was just an example. If you want more oil, make a really big hole in the ground, and fill that up with oil. On other note, I tried to do an unlimited oil source but failed. For water, you can dig a hole 1 block deep, and keep pumping water out without running out. Has anyone done this with oil?

For some reason I can't get a pipe to connect to my oil pump. The tube goes down from the pump to the oil like it should, I put a combustion engine on the back of it, it connects.Then I put 2 buckets of oil and power it up and it runs, but all the oil goes straight into the combustion engine instead of to my tanks. I don't even have a pipe set to go to my engine. Any idea what's wrong?

@PackerbackrGJ85 Pipes don't connect because you're probably using the wrong type of pipes. For liquids, you need waterproof pipes, for energy, use conductive pipes, and for items, use the "regular" item pipes.

@Lachlan170 That's not a hoe, but a wooden axe. This is part of WorldEdit. You have to have SinglePlayer commands or WorldEdit for Bukkit. I have another video named "Essential Plugins for Bukkit" that shows you how to do this.

@DerHirni : THose two mods work very well together. I have a couple of vids on how to install. Or if you wait a little when Bukkit comes out, I'll do another video on how to install the latest. Basically though: (1) Modloader (2) ModloaderMP (3) MinecraftForge go into your minecraft.jar. Then copy all the .zip files into your mods folder. That's it.

i had some problems with oil thingy, but i fixed it i typed in //pos1 and //pos2 and then the oil number. if you dont know the oil number you can type in /search oil and the number shows on your screen.

@tictac111100 Make sure you're using the correct type of pipes for each purpose. Transport pipes are for items, waterproof pipes are for liquid, and conductive pipes are for electricity.

@psychochickendelivry : I've had a hard time with this as well, but I figured out my problems: the water pipes that I use to run the water to cool my combustion engines are ALWAYS golden waterproof pipes; this helps a lot. Secondly, whenever I use an infinite water source, I have to make sure that the water area is big enough so that it doesn't run dry. My issues with engines blowing up has always been a lack of sufficient cooling water.
