  • I never liked the original track, but your arrangement is really amazing. I like how it builds up.

  • This is so epic! I adore VVVVVV's soundtrack, but on the piano it suddenly becomes... so much more...! Wow. Just wow.

  • Very good arrangement. I was working on a piano version, no need to now. I am probably going to write an orchestral version if you would like to here it when I am finished :)

  • Any chance of you making up some sheet music for this?

  • fan vad bra

  • Fantastic, as always.

  • Awesome! i want sheet music.

  • @Riboshom Hahaha, epic win!

They should make a sequel of VVVVVV with Verdegrand as the main protagonist. :D

  • Found this channel through a friend. You have a new subscriber!!

  • I'm glad I've bought that album. I'd also buy a Verdegrand album of anything anytime!

  • Cool cover! Also, I hadn't even heard about the Humble Indie Bundle 3... thanks for letting me know about it! Just bought that, so I can finally get around to playing VVVVVV :)

  • Silky.

  • NICE!!

  • I happen to already have the PPPPPPowerup album and I love these piano arrangements, really nice change from the techno remixes!

  • Thank you for doing these songs, this one in particular. It's helped me through troubled times and is a favorite. Not to mention piano covers are absolutely beautiful imo. Keep on and take it easy~

  • Oh! How beautiful!

At some videos you said that your hands were bad...And this videos is just one of a bunch you already recorded, So I ask u is this water under the bridge now? And, of course, my heart request: do you know aero the acrobat 2 songs? See the Act Clear song is just marvelous.

  • I want to press start game sooo bad, but every time I do the music stops and the game freezes :(

  • 'Pushing onward' on piano, that'd be interesting!

  • good job! i would really like hear a good piano version of passion for exploring ^^

  • @akaphaneuf thanks, and i would love to do a full version of Passion for Exploring it someday, but for now, there is a simplified and abridged version in the I Wanna Be The Piano Medley that I did last year, feel free to check it out.

  • So obviously you'll do Pressure Cooker next.

  • @Kilualmighty hehe i would love to do all of them at some point in the future. pressure cooker in particular would lend itself excellently to piano/violin i'd think, so let's just say i'll be asking around ;)

  • awesome

  • @gigaganon thanks a lot :)

  • Soooo...next video you're doing is "Pushing Onward," right??

    RIGHT?!?!?!

  • @axciom @swoopmyfinger did you see the version of UnofficialSoundtrack? it's amazing and i feel i couldn't add too much to it. nevertheless, i'd love to attempt to arrange it myself someday :)

  • Beautiful.

  • @Qrofol thanks :)

  • Very nicely played, beautiful piece

I know this will be asked a lot, but... sheets???

  • @LeinonenDeluxe thanks a lot. about sheets, it's the same as always, i still can't handle notation software. i did record a midi for this though so it might be possible to be transcribed accurately some day. same goes for positive force. sorry that i can't deliver in that regard at this point. but you can rest assured that i have not forgotten about it!

  • mmm... synthogy piano ee. i think the grand 2 which i use sound a lot better. but i dont know what he means with rendered

  • @SELG88

Rendered from MIDI format into audio format. Requires owning the software piano VST instrument Synthogy Ivory and a relatively powerful computer.

  • @SELG88 this video has the original sound from the digital piano in it, not the synthogy samples, those are on the version on the album.

  • So excited to see this video in my subscription box! Presenting is one of my favorite songs from PPPPPP, because it's such a stark contrast to much of the rest of the music, and for a seemingly peaceful piece, it builds emotional exceptionally well.

Your interpretation is wonderful! I love that you brought down the tempo overall, and you execute the key rhythm changes superbly. I too look forward to more PPPPPP covers!

  • @OparioMcgee hey thanks a lot, i think this piece can be interpreted in many ways and i chose to bring out the melancholic side, i guess, so i'm glad that you like it :) and i agree with you about the piece in general!
