  • my dad help remodel that place

  • was mutual aid called on this structure fire? if so i was probably there. i was a member of district 4 langley

  • When I heard the news of the fire, my mother and I rushed there immediately. We parked at Channel 12's studios and watched in shock. I cried. Seven Gables had been a staple of lifelong N. Augusta childhood. I took photos, I received photos from others. I made a collage after everything sunk in and posted it. There will never be anything like it again. R.I.P. Seven Gables!

  • my cousin and bubba in law responded to the fire

  • my mom is a sheriff and i live about 15 minutes from na too.

  • this fire reminds me of a structure fire we had about 2 years ago...a aparment building for older people went up in flames... 18 hours we were there. then 2 hours after that we got another structure fire responceds. House fully involved with possible intrapment... that call lasted about 5 hours

  • @palmer241 no offence my friend but this is nothing like a retirement home, tho i hope no one was hurt in that fire. this was a thing of pride for the people of my hometown. it was one of the only buildings we have left that have been here since about the time our city was founded

  • @palmer241 this fire lasted at least 10 hours

  • Fantastic photos was this a house of a hotel

  • When it was originally built in the early 1900's it was a hunting lodge for the Hampton Terrace Hotel which burnt around 1935. This then became a restaurant that did not serve black patrons. After that in the 90's it was closed after being found to be dealing drugs. Then in March of 08 it was bought and reopened as a restaurant called The Palmetto House.

  • @firefighterforever2 The Hampton Terrace burnt down on New Year's Eve in 1916.
