planned production of T-50 is 200 for russia, but only 60 accuired so far, however, of these 200, most of them will be used on land.
The US planned production is 2443 F-35's where a total of 700 will be carrier capable (but not nessesarily used on carriers) this can still be cut down (like the rest of 140 planned T-50's. But since the F-35 will be the backbone of the future USAF i doubt it will be cut as much down as the F-22.

@superbasskickass I have the ranges on most radars and at what point they see a different RCS. The main reason Russian radar is better it a bigger radar plate or dish. bigger plane more room. Second reason after they found that older radar seen and shot down a f117. They have been adding this into their radar more and more each time makeing it better at seeing a smaller and smaller RCS. The Irbis-E(su35) can see the f22 at 50+ km out that sooner the the APG-77 from the f22 itself.

@starknight97 The carrier housing the PAK-FA would be seen far away, and probably not first with radar at 400 km range, but with satelite, both Russia and USA would do this. the satelites would see the PAK-FA's taking off, and when a carrier is on mission, it has at least 5 escort ships and a submarine. all with sensors dectecting missiles at long range, if the PAK-FA is in visiual range and fires the missile, the missile if not the PAK-FA could be shot down by Sea-Sparrows.
@JVC7400 that the idea keep a eye out all times on that carrier if we know were she is we can do something about it. with the pak fa sats would lose her durning flight but get a idea of direction. then you know the pak fa would fire more likely just before visual range then turn & burn will jamming any lock-ons. yet now though slow ass f35 could do something and at least launch for that single carrier.

@JVC7400 Jamming BVR is very reliable for air craft not boats in BVR.So it matter of second before the P-800 Oniks see there target and can't be jammed anymore. even if jammed it not like a boat moving any were before the missile get final approach.Reverse though pakfa turn burn they target for as min at most before they go stealth if they wanted to then again max speed is 2.5 vs 3 though missile never catch them before their fuel is gone they drop out the air.Gives em bit BVR jam missiles gone.

As far as the cruiser have better eq don't matter that much all you have too do cut the connection of the missile to it cruiser radar and they blind fly in line after that. Then jam radar so they can't see far and missiles are junk. turn 45 deg and your home free. The fact is even if a radar plan up they not see the pak fa till like 20km on radar. and radar plane are easy targets. f 35 will never catch a pak fa even if airborn

By the way, have you played USNF from 1994 for PC? Man I just installed that and finished the game, all 50 missions of it using DosBox and it was great, you can't believe what quality dogfights games from 15 years ago could deliver. I totally recommend that game if you're into dogfights.
@starknight97 The F-22 and Su-35 has not had any simulated combats against each other, the F-22 is stealth and the Su-35 is not, and remember that 80 % of all Air-to-Air kills are made in BVR combat, which gives the F-22 80 % upperhand. where the 20 % will be to the favour of the Su-35 in short range, and the PAK-FA is not in service, that is why we dont speak about the F-35 against russian aircraft, because the F-35 is not in service either.

The datalinking systems on the F-35's are very good, and while working along AWACS's it should be easier to hit them with AMRAAM's, and if not ramjet missiles at the time PAK-FA is in service. Maneuverability only counts for 20 % of Air-to-Air kills, yet the F-35 is still very maneuverable.

Anti ship missiles gets shot by other missiles, they have ranges up to 50 km away, not just phalanx which works in 1500 m, the carrier will always be escorted by other ships with arrays to find missiles + AWACS to find them and the bombers from 300-400 km away

If a missile is tracked at 40 km away, it will be engaged very fast by missiles on the escort ships. the Phalanx wont shoot, but RIM-7's will be launched, although they have a range of 19 km, they will hit their targets since the ASM will travel the other 21 km.
And as the russian carrier can be detected at a 400 km range, i think it is pretty obvius that they expect an ASM-attack.
@JVC7400 k see you when you get back. The pak fa has a predicted ranger of 5,500 km. So that carrier could be 2000 km away. the tu 160 is base launched. As the new radar will see the carrier from that far away and the missile have 300km range. as far as a AWACS the pak fa will see them at max range too long before they see the pak fa. Then with the Novator K-100 with a range of up to 400 km they get poped out the sky as fast as the can launch. Remember this is a single pak fa their 60 of them.

The f35c would never catch the single pak fa or tu160 after the fire then disengage. Radar that close too the surface wouldn't see or track the missiles till about 40km away after lock and fire that 1 shot and your phalanx's with a speed of mach 2.5 that very little time. 40sec to be detailed for 2 from a pak fa or 6 from a tu 160.

Stealth paint has existed for quite some time. Almost all modern fighter airplanes are coated with it. The F22 stealth is ofc supperior and can hide from modern radars unlike the paint which only works for some or only has some effect.
Exactly stealth paint can avoid radars to a certain point, but it isn't that effective. Many close range missiles use heath tracking and the stealth paint wont help against an AMRAAM anyway(wich uses active radar homing)

planned production of T-50 is 200 for russia, but only 60 accuired so far, however, of these 200, most of them will be used on land.
The US planned production is 2443 F-35's where a total of 700 will be carrier capable (but not nessesarily used on carriers) this can still be cut down (like the rest of 140 planned T-50's. But since the F-35 will be the backbone of the future USAF i doubt it will be cut as much down as the F-22.

@superbasskickass they only get a few shots at them that close with as fast as Russian missiles are then it be 2 for a single pak fa when the carrier holds 50+ aircraft more then likely be a squadron of 4 so that like 8 missiles in the sky flying at mach 2.5. not much time. it take the hole battle group too knock em out. though we had trouble with slower missiles. So if 25 were up half the fighters that be 50 too much for the battle group to deal with at 20nm. Stealth = anti carrier

@superbasskickass I have the ranges on most radars and at what point they see a different RCS. The main reason Russian radar is better it a bigger radar plate or dish. bigger plane more room. Second reason after they found that older radar seen and shot down a f117. They have been adding this into their radar more and more each time makeing it better at seeing a smaller and smaller RCS. The Irbis-E(su35) can see the f22 at 50+ km out that sooner the the APG-77 from the f22 itself.

Yes the mig 29 was 1 of the earliest Russian uses of the f 15 airframe with a few before it even. Ah the backwards is for sort times look tests flights of the su37,47 even the f22 does it a bit. By moving your thrust in a different direction even though the jet moves backwards in a flip the air does not rush in keeping the engines running in very harsh conditions.

@superbasskickass the mig29 was made August 1983 counter the f15c. the f15s you talk of is a export model to Saudis of the F-15E's first flight was on 11 December 1986 and yes thier is a f 15 a,b,c. So the E is newer then the mig 29. So a even fight today would be the f15SE 5th fighter vs the mig-35 4.5 gen model. both brand new.

@starknight97 The carrier housing the PAK-FA would be seen far away, and probably not first with radar at 400 km range, but with satelite, both Russia and USA would do this. the satelites would see the PAK-FA's taking off, and when a carrier is on mission, it has at least 5 escort ships and a submarine. all with sensors dectecting missiles at long range, if the PAK-FA is in visiual range and fires the missile, the missile if not the PAK-FA could be shot down by Sea-Sparrows.

As far as the cruiser have better eq don't matter that much all you have too do cut the connection of the missile to it cruiser radar and they blind fly in line after that. Then jam radar so they can't see far and missiles are junk. turn 45 deg and your home free. The fact is even if a radar plan up they not see the pak fa till like 20km on radar. and radar plane are easy targets. f 35 will never catch a pak fa even if airborn

@starknight97 The F-22 and Su-35 has not had any simulated combats against each other, the F-22 is stealth and the Su-35 is not, and remember that 80 % of all Air-to-Air kills are made in BVR combat, which gives the F-22 80 % upperhand. where the 20 % will be to the favour of the Su-35 in short range, and the PAK-FA is not in service, that is why we dont speak about the F-35 against russian aircraft, because the F-35 is not in service either.

@starknight97 Thats incorrect, the Eurofighter managed to have lock-on, but did not shoot the F-22 The Russian chiefs said that the Radar and IR signature of the T-50 was the same as a F-22, but with increased maneuverability. This was the because the Thrust Vectoring increased Radar and IR signature alot. Remember; expecting to build 1000 world wide does not mean they will. The Su-35 was to be build in 400 aircraft, but only 12 is in service... The 5-1 thing is bullshit, it has not ben prooved.

The RCS of the F-35 is equal to a metal golf ball, and its RCS is less visible than the B-2 which was 2 times more stealthy than the F-117... do some research before posting things you dont know anything about.

@starknight97 The reason why the United States refuses to fight against russian aircraft is to avoid them from developing tactics against them, and therefore the US airforce has the upperhand in numbers. The datalinking systems on the F-35's are very good, and while working along AWACS's it should be easier to hit them with AMRAAM's, and if not ramjet missiles at the time PAK-FA is in service. Maneuverability only counts for 20 % of Air-to-Air kills, yet the F-35 is still very maneuverable.

@JVC7400 yeah and got retired real fast after that 1 shot down. this was the design if you could see here she was helpless. the f-35 will be able to do more in the same. not much can be done on i.r. and super cruise. you can kick the heat more even too avoid real hot spot but over all you still got the same BTU for a level trust. Acoustic is once a gain speed and engine level base fly slow and low you be ok or high fast.

@starknight97 I believe that the PAK-FA is going to be better than the F-35 in terms of A-A and the same as F-22, and equalent in A-G against F-35's and better than F-22. but it will be outnumbered by the amount of F-35's which is going into serivce, remember the US Navy has 11 / 13 carriers, i dont remember ;) and russia has a single one, but the VSTOVL F-35 on land will have the ability to fight even with bombed airbases and runways, since it can takeoff without pavement.

@JVC7400 10 this year 11 by the end. Then it stick close to that as super carriers go we still have mini and helicopter carrier to. Yet they will be decommissioning super carriers as they put new ones in. VSTOVL F-35B has been canceled already sort term they say too make the a air force and c the navy version first. Bad sign for the f35 so far. Then the su35 which was supposed to be behind the f35 is evening up with it and passing up production over all.

@starknight97 The su-35? you do know that only 60 is being brought by the russian airforce, what are they going to do against 2443 F-35's? I dont think the F-35 numbers will be cut very much down. the F-22 was only supposed to replace F-15, and it can take on 2:12 and 2:16 aganst F-15's, so 187 raptors is enough against 750 F-15's, and 60 T-50's (if they choose not to purchase another batch of T-50's)
Anti-ship-missiles, can be shot down, rather easily since they fly slow. with awacs.

@JVC7400 With price soaring on the f35 we will not buy that many even now. Then the u.s. may still have economy crash like Russia did holding up all military buying. F15 great for her time and out dated. let see how many the f22 can take on f15se that closer yet the su35 still a bit better. My reports show 250 now is th first order for both India and Russia. Russia has a boat load of cash plus during ward time production line go way up.

Anti ship missiles gets shot by other missiles, they have ranges up to 50 km away, not just phalanx which works in 1500 m, the carrier will always be escorted by other ships with arrays to find missiles + AWACS to find them and the bombers from 300-400 km away

If a missile is tracked at 40 km away, it will be engaged very fast by missiles on the escort ships. the Phalanx wont shoot, but RIM-7's will be launched, although they have a range of 19 km, they will hit their targets since the ASM will travel the other 21 km.
And as the russian carrier can be detected at a 400 km range, i think it is pretty obvius that they expect an ASM-attack.

@JVC7400 k see you when you get back. The pak fa has a predicted ranger of 5,500 km. So that carrier could be 2000 km away. the tu 160 is base launched. As the new radar will see the carrier from that far away and the missile have 300km range. as far as a AWACS the pak fa will see them at max range too long before they see the pak fa. Then with the Novator K-100 with a range of up to 400 km they get poped out the sky as fast as the can launch. Remember this is a single pak fa their 60 of them.

@JVC7400 The tu160 can fly 50 ft above the ground or water then launch. So could the pak fa could launch P-800 Oniks closer(stealth) and just high from the ocean. The f35c would never catch the single pak fa or tu160 after the fire then disengage. Radar that close too the surface wouldn't see or track the missiles till about 40km away after lock and fire that 1 shot and your phalanx's with a speed of mach 2.5 that very little time. 40sec to be detailed for 2 from a pak fa or 6 from a tu 160.

That why will need to keep 2 carriers around the that 1 Russian carrier if she goes into international waters. Considering the Tu 160 attack can be very effective vs a carrier and the Pak fa will be able to do this attack from fare away. Though f 35c will never catch her. Hence we have to know were that 1 carrier is at all time hence attack her.

you dont know what your talking about, mig 29's are not stealth. And yes the F-22 is very manuverable, just not as much as the Mig 35. But The F-35 Lighting is very manuveable, and very stealthy. The F-22 is the only 5th generation plane. It could easily take an SU 35.

No, the F-22 uses angles to make it stealth. it doesnt need special paint. The Russians havent figured out how to use angles to make a plane stealth. Besides, the paint is very hard to keep up.

By the way an F-22 can stand in mid air with thrust vecturing, we are also going to get HMDs, We're working on a missle called the AIM-9x which can track a missile 90 degrees of the nose of the plane, meaning we can shoot at u even if our nose is not pointed at you. Not to mention American training is by far, mush better.

Stealth paint has existed for quite some time. Almost all modern fighter airplanes are coated with it. The F22 stealth is ofc supperior and can hide from modern radars unlike the paint which only works for some or only has some effect.

Exactly stealth paint can avoid radars to a certain point, but it isn't that effective. Many close range missiles use heath tracking and the stealth paint wont help against an AMRAAM anyway(wich uses active radar homing)
