My tapes recorded from Dave Pierce on Radio 1 were sadly destroyed. What brought me here was a list of tunes written down from years ago in fading biro pen which I can hardly read anymore.
DJ Luka (sic) is Anne Loponen from Finland.Judging from her assorted Twitter,Facebook and Myspace accounts she lives a nomadic life around London and Finland.She is definitely the origin of 'White City' Your copy however is the only one I've heard since Dave Pearce's 3 original broadcasts.
No way! I recorded this exact show on tape too! It's one of my favs! Wish I could give more info on this tune but I only know what I heard on the show; she was called DJ Luca, changed her name to DJ Inka and then changed it back to DJ Luca again.
i have mate, but he has a team of people who answer his e-mails for him, and i haven't heard from Dave himself yet, they keep saying we'll ask him and get back to you soon, and they never did
